This is interesting. I've always gone all-out for dominance right from the start, no fussing around with alliances unless absolutely necessary, which as I got better at the game eventually turned out to be "never". Cotal, do you go for dominance at all? Or do you just go for the alliance as your top priority and not worry about getting ahead, since the AI won't hurt you if you're allied?

In response to your actual questions:
has anyone ever finialised the "final frontier" techno
Probably most players who have been around for a while have done it. You get a very nice cut scene. If you want to see a tech tree that will lead you to Final Frontier, you can view it at Javascout's site: webpages.charter.net/trevorpowdrell
tell me the highest number of ultra(all modules) terror stars ever built in one game
<
"Allies share the benefit of installed modules on SBs", does the same go for the resource bonuses that you may be mining?
I think so.
i want to know what happens if you have 2 the same starbases in one sector?
You get double the benefits.

It was a 30% PQ bonus in 1.10. I don't think it's changed since then. You could always start a game and invoke a couple cheat codes, then pour espionage into the AI to see what the exact bonus is.
I just read couple of post in the thread against you Smeagol from some of the members of your team, specially one that said that he voted against you and called you "Bluesteal"
Okay, first of all this is not true. Smeagol is in FOTR. The person who said that is not in FOTR and never has been. Nor was it even in the FOTR thread. In short, his "team" had nothing to do with the comment you're criticizing. Even if it had factually accurate, there was no need for this
Also try playing the opposite alignment (well finishing as the opposite alignment realy is all that matters) to the other AIs. This gives your score a big boost too! (i.e. Set all the AIs to evil and finish as Good or Saintly) . . .
I think this was what Frogboy wanted, but it seems to be broken. My last three games (maso/large) have one good, one essentially neutral (alignment 51) and one pure evil, all against 5 pure evil AI. They all scored in the 47K range. They were

Thinking back, I remember one time I was trying to go pure good, and never got enough events to get past neutral. I'm sure I wasn't at 50 in that game. So in 1.05 at least, you weren't required to have morality 50. I think I'll try to get a pure neutral in my next game. Ray, I just sent that file again to your hotmail account, along with a question. Smeagol, Ray said most of what I would have said. The one thing I'd like to add is that, while you take the Metaverse pretty seriously, you should try not to fault others for not seeing things the same way. It doesn't make them dishonorable or disloyal, it just means they play Galciv for different reasons than you do.
It was difficult and I am really hating the UP. They keep making me pa

Are you sure it was a deliberate response to culture flipping, and not just a coincidence? AIs seem to build a lot of junk starbases, especially the Arceans.

Marqesa, I'm not saying that this is what you have to do to win. It's certainly possible to win at maso without using any cheese. However, it's not easy, so your first several times, you should expect to either lose a few or use cheese. After you've had some practice you can get away from that.
