No, they're more like helpful suggestions. You know, like stop signs.

Yeah, they are basically techs that increase your weapons capabilities.
Yep, same problem here on dial-up.
The one group that always seems to show up for me, to my great annoyance, is the fundimentalists.
the only event that's garaunteed to occur is creation of the League of Independant Races.
I dont know about that. I've played many games where they never show up.
Hey, i noticed five copies of the same issue on the page. Did you post multiple times accidently?
Wow, impressive Qui-Gon. Congrats.
I think it might be better to just set the first day of each month as "election day" and go from there. That gives us a couple of days to get ready to fill the one empty seat.
Thats what I meant when I said to set a regular schedule and recalc the seats then.
Welcome new member Gunner 243.
Hmm, since we are growing at a fairly strong rate, the 3:1 ratio plan means that a new Council position is opening up every couple of days. Perhaps we should set a schedule for elections and recalc senate positions before each one. This would make it organized. Just a suggestion.
LOL, very entertaining Wild Wombat. Thank you.
I got this in my "Joke of the Day" e-mail today. Is that what inspired you too Qui-Gon? And speaking of the Dark Side, as the ranking Sith in the Jedi Republic, I believe I have a good handle on it.
Drunk post at 2:54am. Be warned: Heh heh, heh, paranoia runs rampant as a I get 100% of the vote. To set the record straight, I did not vote for myself. I assume that 100% simply means that everyone who did vote other than me voted for me. I'm honored, but not humbled, because I am a Sith of course. My gratitude to all who voted for me, you will be rewarded handsomely in holding to Sith tradition. Welcome to the Jedi Republic, FunkyFlyBilly. I am pleased to see another Si
Woohoo, I broke 50,000 points! Finally. [Message Edited]
So when is the voting over? Midnight? Eastern Time?
Yes, I did notice. Right next to each other too.
Come on people, vote. I did.
Ok, so there are 3 spots avalible. Me and Admiral Sherbert are definately running, but has numbtenor21's candidacy been made official? All he said is that he might be interested. ~SDC~
Thanks Ray, that worked.
My stardock central downloaded an update about a week back, then it said I had to reboot for it to take effect. I rebooted, and now everytime I try to open Stardock Central the window flashes open for 3 seconds and then CTD. Has this happened to anyone else?
Trade does more than make money. It makes friends. You may want to trade with a certain major race to keep them friendly, and Sol may to too far away from them.
Too far away? The longer the trade route, the more it's worth.
Well, I'll vote for you, and you vote for me, and we'll be all set.
Two Sith on the Council? Why not?
Hell yeah, we are gaining influence. Everything is proceeding according to plan....
For some reason I couldn't access the galciv website yesterday, or even submit a score. Strange. Anyway, welcome to our newest Sith Initiate, Lord Niknak. Follow me my apprentice, I will guide you in the proper way of the Dark Side. The voting system seems simple enough. The "contact a councilmember" idea seems promising, although I dont know if everyone wants to throw their e-mails out there. I have no problem with it if I am elected. Dont forget to vote tomorrow,
A few pages back, Berserk74 said that he wasn't interested in running. I think he mentioned that his schedule was going to be limited for awhile; that probably accounts for his reluctance.
Well, of course. I was just trying to comvince him otherwise, he's on the forums a lot. Welcome to Black Shade, our newest member. Interesting choice of name for someone with a good smiley.
