Ok I got it! Frequency of games, your system punishes excessively those that play more frequently, which would happen if you perfer smaller maps. As your denominator never adjusts, an accumulation of a large number of games will become quite a burden! Also, if the system doesnt actually remove anyone, whats the point of it anyway, if someone plays 2 years they effectively gotten the score they will always have regardless? That seems r

OK, I was wrong, the flag disappears if the planet changes ownership and then the flag flipping thing can begin all over, yes a planet can flip back. Maybe poor design, but not a bug, this is by design been stated quite clearly quite often, cause believe me like forceinfinity has said, this is very confusing and has been asked many many times.

This is the number one most frequently confused issue on this forum :) The skull never disappears, its by design. All it signifies is that at one point in time that system failed a check, and if it ever fails a check again, it will switch. It has no reflection on the current state of the situtation.

Your two both peak at week 33 and then, looking only at the mini peaks, continue to dip down until week 54. Mine peaks at 49, and then goes down at the exact same time that the peaks start spreading out a lot. Ie when the player starts playing less frequently. Mine also remains extremely level during this less playing period, and then dies away competetly when the player is done(as it should imo) If my score isnt my highest score, regardless of<

population, difficulty, tech, wonders/tradegoods, econ. In that order, in my experience, others will disagree on the order. Population is easier to score on larger galaxies with bigger abundancies. Time in theory has a negative effect, but its limited to diminishing returns, which in essence means that everytime you hit turn, your pop grows, and so does your score.

update to the lastest version, you can submit older games after updating. If this still doesnt work, check out the metaverse submission problems thread that is near the top of this forum.

Btw, mine does dip too, but only after the player stops playing very often, yours dip even while they are still very active, thats the wierdness :) Anyway, your probably right, my way is better but it is more then a 2 character bit change in the code, its at least a few bytes.

Oh I know it wll take 20 months before a score drops off competely :) 5%*20, not hard Of course they will start going down much sooner then that, just slower over time. Anyway, 10% doesnt look bad, better then that wierd arse dip both the non controls take :)

My method is not the same, 5% is a better amount. Really, this is perhaps more idealogical then anything, but old games are not a of lesser skill value then newer games. Just dropping the score without dropping the denominator smacks of mathematical foul play. The same thing can be acomplished using a more balanced approach. You will notice when you 'fixed' my method, it grew quite a bit faster for quite a bit longer then any of your methods.
