Any program that benefits only the inhabitants of one particular state should be cut. It's one thing for Congress to build a military training base in Texas, it's quite another to spend federal funds on a Tourism Center for Arkansas. That should be done with state funding.

Basically it doesn't matter what size or shape a woman's breasts are, there'll be somebody (and probably a LOT of somebodies) who finds that particular type of breast attractive. Largeness lovers may be loud, but they are not necessarily a majority or even a plurality.

Well, just to keep it all on the same level, perhaps we should go with "In the name of The Santa, The Easter Bunny, and The Great Pumpkin"....

but if someone as genius as you says that I should let it wait, then I'm forced to put it off until tomorrow! That's one brainwashed follower! Only 6,394,477,292 to go and I'll RULE THE WORLD! Bua-HAHAHAHAHAAA!

Wow, I'm honored to be included on your list, Mig! And I have to join in the plaint that choosing only 5 is a hard, hard thing to do. But I'll try.... 1/ Mignuna. An endlessly fascinating, wonderfully entertaining, unfailingly kind and thoughtful person. 2/ Texas Wahine. Honest, empathic, caring, and open. You can't help but feel like you're involved in her life just by reading her stuff. 3/ Gideon MacLeish. Interesting, thought-

IS SANTA CLAUS REALLY GOD? Decide for yourself! Here's the evidence: They both have beards. They're both old men. They both have little helpers (elves/angels) They both perform miracles. They both know when you've been good or bad. They both reward you for goodness and punish you for badness. They both take re

Yes, well, partly she is active and loves to throw her toys around, partly she has more toys already than will fit in her toybox, and partly we're lazy and don't pick up after her when she goes to bed.... Oh, and she apparently gets her eyes from me, so thanks for the indirect compliment.

If we count people and their kids/spouses as a single unit, then I'd invite: Texas Wahine, so she could get out of her miserable obligation to her neighbors and have some fun Dharmagrl, to keep TW company (and to be a charming guest as I know she would be) Mignuna, because she would be an absolutely fabulous dinner guest all around Gideon Macleish, because we could always count on him to come up with something to talk about in the

Thank you, thank you... Yes, it's sad, I'm already living vicariously through my child, taking credit for things I had no control over...

why did it take 8 grown men to tell someone that he was on private land and to bugger off? Well, first of all, not all of them were necessarily men; at least one of the victims was a 27-year-old woman who was with her father (also now deceased, I think). Secondly, hunting can be a surprisingly so

Oh hell yes, you can! You're supposed to be thankful for good things, not for making it through a crappy experience that none of you enjoyed. Wow. That's really what you think? Tex, I should have been more specific, I think, in that you should certainly be grateful for having made i

Tex, you've got to change the way you think when you get into these sorts of moods. Sit down and write down a list of things you're good at, of things where you make a difference. You already have a great start in your old article What I can do. Go back and read it. (You can stop when you get to the 2nd-graders if you want.) Now I realize I'm being a typical guy and offering "f

I don't think I can cop out of it. Oh hell yes, you can! You're supposed to be thankful for good things, not for making it through a crappy experience that none of you enjoyed. Break out the onion a little early and rub it all over your face. Then with red, puffy, watering eyes go over and

I went to a private Christian school from Kindergarten through HS graduation. For most of that time I blindly accepted the belief that my private school provided a better education than a public school could. When my brother went to public school (after being expelled from this private school) the sorts of literature he was getting to read made me realize that my education was rather one-sided. I got a bunch of older classics and safe stuff ("The Hu

I'm with elmo3, being able to have different requirements for different races would probably make the interest level last a lot longer. I'm sure it would also add quite a lot of deveopment time too, though....

Well, I was speaking in the broader sense that the JFK Assassination is of interest to millions of people. I hope that the Lee Harvey Oswald Simulator tanks as it so richly deserves to.
