I have been having this dream consistently for a few years now . . . I just can't figure out what the choice is Just because the dream is the same, doesn't mean the choice you're facing is always the same. I've had a series of extremely similar dreams for a long time... Basically, walking along so

Hadn't thought of the insurance.... If the deductible is at all significant, though, it's probably not worth filing a claim, since we did get a lot of meat saved. I lost something like 4 pork chops, 2 bags of meatballs, some 4-month-old bags of shrimp, half a container of ice cream, a loaf of garlic cheese bread, a Hot Pocket box, a box of fish sticks, and a box of 2 pre-made chicken cordon bleus, and a few other minor things like microwave pretzels,

One reason that the elephant can't jump is that it's the only mammal with 4 knees. Or is it 4 elbows? Anyway, all their leg joints bend in the same direction.

when you're trying to browse in a whitegoods store, you can't think for the salespeople 3-deep trying to 'help' you. yet when something breaks ... Yeah, I actually skipped the part in the story where we went to Sears to see if they could help us line up something with their repair service, only to have

Well, I certainly wouldn't care to trade your car outing for my refrigerator troubles. Although, at least your trauma only lasted a couple of hours, while my refrigerator will remain comatose for an entire week. (sigh) Good thing I don't mind eating out. And I'm sure there are a lot of guys here who would gladly have offered to trade places with your neighbor. <img src="../i

Just to follow up a little, I tried to call last night at an unreasonable hour but couldn't get to their answering machine, so I called early this morning. Apparently someone else was on duty in the early morning today, because he took my information, looked a couple of things up quickly, and told me someone would be out sometime on Monday. Which is still WAY too long, but at least I have something scheduled now. Oh, and apparently there a

I must take exception. HE was a sad, strange man. I merely chronicled his story for the edification of all.

Is it really true you can drill a hole in your head and live if it's in the right place. I could drive a three-inch nail into the center of my skull and suffer no ill effects whatsoever. Can't see your picture, though.

A number of years ago, there was a story going around here in the upper midwest. It was the talk of all the morning radio DJs, specifically the wacky ones. For at least a week, maybe a month, you couldn't turn on your radio in the morning without hearing something about this guy. It seems he was a machinist with a little too much time on his hands at work, who had

I went on a little trip this past weekend with my woman (Ann) and my adorable baby (Krystal). When we got back Sunday night, we had a quick, easy meal from the freezer. I happened to notice, when I grabbed our repast, that there was, for some inexplicable reason, an awful lot of frost on many of our food items. But I cooked, we ate, and we didn't think much more ab

Actually, the way you've phrased it, the project smacks of copyright infringement or plagiarism. Re-writing all the copy is the least objectionable part insofar as your copy will be clearly different from theirs, while all your images, icons, elements, links, etc. will be substantially identical.

Jeers to some of the NBC interviewers for asking mindless, insulting, or obnoxious questions. I half expected the one lady who interviewed Courtney and Carly after their silver medal to ask if Carly felt that her substandard performance on beam and bars was responsible for them not getting the gold.

Personally I feel that the list of banned substances is so large and extensive that before long an athlete won't be able to eat at all. And really, if you go to the store and buy some generic brand of acetaminophen/pseudoephedrine combo, should you really have to worry that it has some phenolbarbitols or ketylurinetics or phlogistonethergones in it? If the label on the box says "active ingredients: A, B 0.3%. Harmless Filler, 99.7%" you should be ab

Judging from your photo, I would have to guess that you would look perfectly fine in a bikini, Wahine. Don't know what you could possibly have been talking about in the limerick thread.

Texas Wahine, I'm with Lady Cleve that you should start a dream journal. I kept one for a couple years after I graduated from college and it really helped me piece together the consistent elements in my dreams to form an understanding of my "dream vocabulary". Just writing it down can also help you to recall some other details of the dream that you might otherwise have forgotten, that turn out to be significant.

I think there should be a multiplier effect in the sentencing for a serial offender.... Basically if you're caught and convicted a 4th-6th time, your sentence can be doubled; 7th-9th, tripled, 10th-12th, quadrupled, etc.
