I have voluntarily stepped down from the Senate. I don't have the time to devote to the entire process, so I think the spots should go to the active ones. Besides, truly evil overlords pull the strings from behind the scenes, not in the Senate committee meetings haggling over the Evil Empire bylaws...

Ok, I vote against this #5 proposal... and I propose that we stop making proposals and start conquering the galaxy. What kind of crazy parliament have we turned into? Now, if it was the Taiwan parliament where MPs punch each other's lights out, that's one thing (a sort of evil legislature)... but the Evil Empire is starting to turn into the "Let's-sit-around-our-terror-star-and-vote-on-another-bill" Empire!

Wombat - ToEE has got some potential. I am in Seattle, U.S.A so I had no problem getting it as soon as it came out. I never did give NWN a try, so adjusting to the "wheel of choices" is interesting. All the actions on the spiraling outward menu was tricky for me. AI pathfinding is a bit off, and some of the quests and encounters are buggy. The play is pretty good and the early fights seem balanced decently. I like how your alignment and your skills affect the conversation choices

Ray, I've been playing ToEE and it is a bit on the buggy side. It is due one good patch and a couple of minor adjustments to make it a pretty decent game. I'd give it some time to move out of it's debut growing pains. I'm hoping that UFO picks up the X-Com banner and carries it high. I'm hoping to hear that one is worth the investment of time and loss of sleep!

When I post my games to the metaverse, I get the following message rather than the successful post screen: Send test status: 1 Error status: 0 The game still posts, though. And I thought that when I researched stellar cartography, the previously colonized yellow stars by the AI did not appear in the undiscovered areas as a yellow star. Does that make sense? I wasn't sure, so I will be rechecking it in the next game I play. Might have been my imagination...

Hey, we're making progress toward the others. There are just eight of us compared to dozens in the other empires. If we continue to move toward the inactive or barely active empires at 8 and 9, and get another recruit or two, we will be right up in the hunt. Evil calls to the others out there and we will see more dark members soon...
