Nomo Mo:
I hate to be the good grammer fairy here, but I have to mention, your math is so very wrong
Sorry to say it but the only thing wrong in your post is your definition (and spelling!) of grammar--it has nothing to do with math!

And now the latest from the Drengin Bureau of Statistics: The GalCiv Devotion Index. I have given each player a rating based on the size and difficulty they've played in their last five games, as well as how often they submit. The full formula will come later for those who are interested, but right now we'll get right down to the numbers! (They only cover the top 25 right now, until people show interest in this and I feel like crunching the numbers again :P) Cotal -- 196.0 Ray t

I've had far more than 20k before--I know I've had at least 400k at one point when I had all the races feeding me for tech. I think the problem with anomolous cash is getting too much too early. All you should need to do is wait until a few years in before you go crazy with tribute trades.

The odd thing of it though is that if you look at your modem (if you've got an external that is) you'll see that there's only activity for a second or two right after you hit the button. Then it's just a matter of waiting a minute or two for the server to report back whether it succeeded. Must have an awful lot of crunching to do on this end...

The only new transports in addition to the regular one and combat transports are ones added by mods ;) Also, excaliburs do come after Near Omnipotence, but don't show on the tech browser unless you go directly to the page from a link. This is a problem with the tech browser (it only shows the core techs in the tree, and excalibur is part of the bonus pack--same deal with the new weapon techs)... If bonustechs.tech and excalibur.ship are in your data directory though I don't se

Somebody should make a mod to put Bradians back in the game... If I'm not mistaken they were for testing the Drengin AI, and if they still have that AI set then they would be like a psuedo-major race when they appear :D

Wow we've got more than just galcivers and stardockians here now, ECM came all the way over from brain-terminal ;)

As I posted in another thread, another easy way of doing it is simply to build hordes of constructors, then center the screen on your target for building the SB and use the blue arrows in the fleet panel to send as many as you need. Then move to another location, rinse and repeat. And if you're looking for an empire to join, come help the MWC put those pirates and ringworms in their places, behind us ;) [Message Edited]

The newest version is 1.10A, and you can get it through Stardock Central. If you don't have SDC yet, get it through the downloads link at left (then you can get the patch). [Message Edited]

Not too sure what your problem is right off the bat, but it can't hurt you to try setting up Stardock Central and downloading v1.10 through that (8.3mb download). It sounds like you're having trouble with GC not working properly with your computer, but then as I said the latest and greatest patch can't really hurt...
