Lord KiRon
Well it's crashes sometimes on start after you selected race and such and hit "done" then you see the progres window when it generates a world and it crashes. It MIGHT be related to clicking on the screen during that time. Can send entire log if needed but here is last lines of debug.log : Debug M
He played Civ4 for too long ...
Not so sure , they wanted "1 post per issue" before so why would they want anything different ?
Well I did also found this confusing too , but here some things I found out "on my skin" that may interest others : 1. If you preorder game at stardock you will be charged when game released but you will not have access to prev. beta only when Beta4 will arrive you will get it. 2. If you will preorder thu TotalGaming tokens then you will be charged right away and will be able to download Beta4a right away even before Beta4 release
After Civ4 PC requirments nothing surprices me anymore Anyway P3 1.2 is pretty old , of cause it's not my place to judge but you can get P4 2.4 or something like that prety cheap this days.
Well I like PayPal more but whats wrong with paing by regular credit card ? Believe me, you ccan trust StarDock
Well why cry about not getting future versoins while we going to have 2 upcoming versions anyway ? (And the final of cause) I mean StarDock completely right by limiting number of people that potentially can bury them with semi-spam reports to the people that proven to provide usefull output . Time is money
Oh guys , I surely see the economiocal point but let's take old Master of Magic - dam lot of unit types and each one had own picture , that was great. Let's only hope that GalCiv2 will generate enough money so StarDock will be able to do it in GalCiv3 or expansion pack
Guys , what about "neutral" civs ? I mean good and bad civs have it's own projects but what about neutral ? Also why not to make a couple of projects speccific for chaotic and lawful civs ?
You can trade resources btw , it does not have to be "usless" rice and cows only . P.S.: now I know why Beta4 was delayed
Football? Ice hockey? OK , I see the problem is that english not my native lang and I was reffering to the image shown of the Rome Colosium, the thing you talked about is stadium for me <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 class="mb-Body-Quote-Tabl
Don't know where you live, but towns still spend millions building a coliseum in the US. And make gladiators fights too ?
OK , after laying Civ4 some more here are "problems" I have discovered : 1. Like with many such games at advanced levels (time) if you build a new city you have to spend a lot of time buildinga lot of very old stuff. Its logical (in most cases, not when you build Colosium in atomic age) but very anoying. 2. Sometimes ifyou build or research something that has "obsolite effect" its hard to tell how this will actually effect you.<b
Well I have NVIDIA too and except for the starting movie that instead of playing minimizes the game it plays fine. The game is actually fun to play and I ordered it after 2-3h of playing. The other annoying thing was stupid copy protection that refused to run with "Virtual CD emulation software detected" error witrhout even giving a hint on what program it talking abo
Well a bit more time to play Civ4 for us too
Why not to make some tecnologies "easier" (to research) to speciffic races ? Like umans reearch misiles faster and such ...
Hm... I think 1st Civ was great , 2nd ... mediore , 3rd - total failure ... now comes the 4th , this time it looks like a brake in a bad luck but ... bugs , bugs ...
Wow. I've never actually SEEN someone admit to pirating a game on a game publisher's forum before. Why not ? After a mistake with MoO3 and few others I usualy apply "try before buy" policy. Of cause sometimes you have demo version like with Stardock games but if not ...
You all just jealouse
Hm... I was a bit disapointed by Civ2 and a lot by Civ3 so ... with so much good (or better put "potentially good") games getting out this time I gues I will have to resort to "pirate version testing" before I buy it if I like it.
Btw: a bit off topic but always wandered - how you become a "diplomat" here at forum (or was it ambasidor?) ?
Who cares as long as game is good
It's just my opinion but without tactical combat option the fleet battles will quickly get borring to watch over and over, so please do not forget an option to turn them off in settings.
You'll note that as great as Master of Orion I/II was, the company that made it no longer exists wheras Stardock does. Beware with such sayings , I am totaly on your side, Astrax completely out of the line but you can make a lot of fans angree over this. Finansial success (or in this case survival <img src="smiles/Wink.gif" border=0 ALIGN=
