i got that email awhile ago and swore to design my website in scrambled text. i didn't.. but i still love that concept.

i like being able to access all platforms from one client. being able to set one away message and so on, and talking to people of all platforms without worrying about it. i wasn't happy with regular trillian but i bought pro for the hell of it (20$ i otherwise would have spent on beer) and - i love it. its got the AV features built into it so you can connect to people on MSN or Yahoo's AV, and probobly even the new AIM AV. i can make and join AIM chatrooms and i started using IRC on trillian pro
Windows Paint!!! thats all you need.
first off i can't help you, mason. you need to have a program written to work on windows modile or palm OS and i don't believe programs like stardock would be compatable. even if they were it would take a lot of unneccesary space. i know a great interactive developer who is writing flash programs for pocket pc's but even flash wouldn't work with your Reader app. it could be something you suggest to Microsoft or Palm. As for books/vs digital books..well i can go both ways on this. in typ
how so, stumpy? edit: and that's what i'm talking about. the whole 'here we go again' rather than taking 2 minutes to offer some solid advice. [Message Edited]
good luck, joe. hang in there
i might be throwing myself before the firing line here, but i honestly don't mind when people post their requests for having a turned-down wall paper critiqued by the community. afterall, this is a forum for discussion. yes---you can say its a matter that must be taken up with an admin---but lets face it, the admins are busy; they don't send decline emails out because of the flak they generally get, and by comming to a hub of site activity you know you have a shot at the best of the best reviewi
indeed. maddon's one of those people i've always wanted to beat with a stick.
photoshop has it. in all programs of that nature it should have a name of something similar to 'lasso' or 'area select tool'. photoshop also has a 'magic wand'. you should be able to find a 'cousin tool' in psp.
you want to use .png image formats for your objectdock shortcuts. jairo makes nice packages, he usually includes both the .ico incon formats and the .png images for each graphic. use the icons with windows or iconpackager, or with something like objectbar.
nor should you. i think he was just looking for an explanation.
1280x960 on a crisp 17 in is BEAUTIFUL to my eyes. i can read everything wonderfully and the brightness and color are matched because of the line def. now, 1600x1200 a 19 - starts to get tough but is still workable. 1600x1200 on a 21 - now you're cookin' with gas.
hurrah indeed. there is a lot of stuff on this site and those top authors are the best in the industry.
mm photoshop or other. illustrator can open them, also. for opening and editing at least. i believe there is an option in stardocks new icon editor to just right click on an image and convert it to an icon. careful with your transparency edges but it shoudl be the trick you're looking for.
i'm up for it, with all of the amendments so far listed included. but don't get carried away with it and have levels for who purchased more programs than others. recognition is nice for the people who arn't freeloading but i wouldn't want to see it turn into a sign for people who should be given special help or otherwise treated differently from the rest of the community. i'm hoping everyone who continues to agree to this agrees to that, as well. we're all human. regardless of who can afford wha
i'm just lurking. but i wanted to say this is quite the interesting discussion, even though i believe its irrelevent. the skins will have to evolve to be 'larger' if the standard resolution becomes so intense. i still see 15 to 17in monitors being the home standard for many years to come, regardless if we're using crt's, flat screens, or holigraphic projections. if the res goes high and the screen stats small, the gui's will have to be enlarged to compensate or else it just won't be rea
#48 Somebody was smoking some bad weed i need that lurk emoticon.
i worked with an illustrator once who preferred the vector tools in photoshop over illustrator, for drawing. he said they are much harder to use but after you get the hang of the different style, its great for the actual drawing aspect. i suppose he's right. when it comes to needing a bitmap graphic i want to draw the shape in the ease of vector tools then build on it in photoshop. if you get the hang of doing it in one place, you can really make nice things.
here you go.. https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?Library=8&skinid=15320 ?
well i for one went through and looked at the aforementioned skins.. macro to be honest, because you desire the honesty, they were moderate skins. they weren't amazing but they definitly were not trash. it looks like you went at the design for DESKTOP in mind, as you should. very relaxed, very light. they have a reason and for that they are the wall papers i would expect to see make it onto a site that boasts pristeige. if that was the low end of what they were accepting i would unders
hi. i just downloaded a desktop x skin and it doesn't work right. thanks in advance for your help!
hey jafo, lets not forget the states have many different regions influenced by many different languages, and yes - the dialect is different every few hundred miles. and as many young, ordinary people do not know the need for specialty tape in tying together duct work, 'duck' is a common misconception people will grow up with and use every day regardless if they wind up knowing the difference between duct and duck. i'm sure we can find a few aussey words that stem from mis pronunciations
if our education and social system was taken seriously enough, we would all have learned several languages in high school for the hell of it, if not for the handiness it has with interacting with the rest of the world. i spent a month in germany as an exchange student. everywhere i went i tried to speak german and was replied to in english. every one knew it. in fact, most people also knew french and spanish. and they were only high school students. why? because they wanted to. they lik
