i'll join the chouras. definitly CRT. the brightness and color is unmatched.. i'm on a sony trinitron (which sadly is blurring out) and there is no equal to the color. better definition. i don't know about the refresh rates but the crt can take a lot more pressure then an lcd. plus, its just so much cheaper.

brightness, color, is incredible. its a 19".. was 650$ when i got it so i'm scared about what a new flat screen is gonna cost. its just hte sharpness, its a shame. hmm im wondering if i can trade it with a couple hundred bucks for a 620 or something like that.

i never realized how bad my trinny monitor had gotten until i bought a newer flatscreen last week that now sits right next to it. during the last couple days, when moving stuff between monitors i've had to blink and shake my head to focus on the material because the change was so strong. after 6 years, my 420gs trinitron is starting to get blurry personally i thought it would have a much bet

whaaaaaaat? its true? i sure didn't do any research ingui, because it was listed under just one vendor amoung many for what was set up to be the same product. thats insane!!!!! thats a wild card! i'll stick wiht my 128mg radeon
