ok the antiamerican comment did you in for me right off the bat. it was baseless, pointless, and has nothing to do with stardock. you're just another freeloading pest that would rather bitch and complain then sit and try to figure out a problem that is most likely your own fault. to top it off, you'll bad mouth the people here to gain what? pump up your manly parts to compensate for your ignorance? go away.

indeed. icons are a big thing that eats up the processing time to render the magnifying things. if you like the funcitonality of the bar but it runs too slow for you, set it not to magnify the icons, or to magnify only slightly.

*smacks eric*. shame on you Einige von uns sprechen nicht Englisch i understand. gorgo's bootscrean progress bar is moving much faster then it used to. gorgo, i am not certain why but it is possibly due to a setting for the speed of the bar that has been changed.

using winxp? hit winkey+pause/break to bring up your sys information window, and go to the 'advanced' tab. under performance, click 'settings'. make sure the option for 'use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop' is checked. it drop shadows your icons which can be annoying on really light colored backgrounds, but it makes the text lables see-through. someone can probobly tell you if winfx can do this for non xp computers, or if winfx can replace the windows built-in optio

thats strange, i'd expect it to be totaly energy effeciant. with no wear and tear on equipment (no moving parts) there is nothing to maintain. the equipment is like any standard rail equipment but the thing is emmissionless. the only cost i see is in the amount of energy that might be required to polarize the tracks. even so, being enviromentally friendly i'd expect a government or enviromentalist gorup to support at least a small-scale 'prototype' project

i need one of those for my logitech. f-lock is on by default and if i'm trying to use a series of f-keys i always get outlook and word comming up to spam me, beforei realize what's happened. i've outgrown the use of these extra keys.. i never use the ones for email or quick-keying to my docs or my pics (thank you object bar/dock) and i don't use 'shopping'. i got this thing so i could have a volume and play
