No, disabling old start10 search works, but it uses new search engine that won't find files in network shares. I need to use old search.
The search engines should show the same results for files. The difference should be in how it appears visually. Note that searching network shares when it is not indexed would be a painful experience.
Same issue to me. I tried 11.06 and the beta 11.07. Nothing works. Explorer works again when I apply the default skin.
Uninstall, reboot , then install 11.07 I suspect files were not replaced correctly.

If the computers are not on the grid it should not be connecting. Connections are only made automatically when computers are on a grid or you make a KVM connection yourself.

There will be overheads such as credit card fees on orders which will be a greater percentage of smaller orders which is why the price has to take that into account.
Just ran into this issue today, my guess is that Stardock activation does not support proxy.pac file / proxy server. Since I can't use the trial, I will find another product. Trials shouldn't require activation, and activation shouldn't be harder than using the product. The black on file properties windows is a known issue on later Windows builds with HDR enabled and we are looking into it. Unfortunately Microsoft messed up transparency support in Windows 11 amongst other things and despite reporting it they have never fixed it. Because of this we have to use workarounds and HDR requires a different workaround than non HDR and it comes with some other complications.
" What other software do you have running?" Seriously? Looking to blame something other than the source of the problem? I'm looking for some constructive suggestions/support, not a silly fishing expedition by someone who knows nothing on the subject. Taskbar pinning is a convenient feature for me and I have studied both potential causes (and thereby solutions) and alternatives to Start
Hey Adam - thanks for the beta! The fix didn't work for me. Using Chrome or Explorer to create many windows and then hovering over one of their taskbar items will still block a chunk of the taskbar. They are still horizontally positioned in the popup.
Could you post a screenshot? It should not be overlapping a taskbar at default width.
Uninstalling and reinstalling had no effect on not being able to pin folders. The group policy editor is not blocking this pinning. Perhaps this supposed feature no longer works with Start11 because of recent OS updates.
I do not believe this has been broken by any recent OS changes. What other software do you have running and do you use something that gives focus to the window under the mouse?
