So, after doing what was suggested above, now About page shows me exactly as shown but in 11.07 when applying any skin, it sends me to Windows login page and I cannot get to desktop. So I had to do a lot of gymnastics to even get into safemode and uninstall Windowblinds through 3d party SW because uninstallation via Steam is not enough (yes, I have purchased WB via Steam). I tried three times already to install it back and I always end u

I am sorry but I think you will experience issues with your plan. Combining all those tools is going to cause you problems because there is liable to be overlap in the features or in how they work. WindowBlinds is designed to work on an unmodified version of Windows and is a full OS skinning solution. You can't just turn certain bits on and off. WindowBlinds should work just fine with Start11 and we don't have reports of issues with them but throwing in tools whi

The first one already exists. You can either use the OS pin to start option which will also pin to the OS menu, or if you select show more options you can use "Pin to Start11" You can also pin things to the start menu (menu style dependent), by right clicking in a group and picking new and then pin file, folder, website or installed application.
Completely uninstalled - didn't even save settings. Used Revo to clear out semblance of the program at all. Rebooted. Reinstalled. After reinstall, it worked until it said it needed to reboot and now it's back to doing nothing.
It sounds like something is stopping the service starting. What Start11 processes are running in taskmanager under the details tab?

Your issue would count as an account issue which is why it couldn't be handled in the forums as we wouldn't want your private information posted in public. Hopefully support will resolve your issue for you shortly as extending a subscription should just add 12 months, not set it to 12 months from today. The reason for mentioning multiple tickets is because in the past customers have done so and this can cause their issue to be handled even slower as they keep on ending up at t
Just wanted to chime in...... I too have this problem. I tried the v2.55 beta version but it did not fix the problem. For now, I have disabled Start 11 from managing the taskbar, the only way to solve it is to disable that. But that is a workaround until Stardock fixes it.
How many monitors do you have? And do they have the same dpi as each other?
Hi, I'm evaluating the transition from Windows 10 to Windows 11 on various VMware virtual machines.. With W11 23H2, no problems mixing WB with various utilities like explorer-patcher and Start Menu X. But 23H2 will reach EOL this year. With W11 24H2 LTSC IoT (to get long time support without disrupting new features), I cannot make my favorite menu replacement (sorry [e digicons][/e] ) Start Menu X

Unfortunately this is being caused by Firefox itself. It is preventing a critical WindowBlinds dll from loading into the process that owns the file open dialog and in doing so is breaking Windows theming support for that which is why the menu shows incorrectly. They would need to stop blocking wbload.dll in child processes. If they had issues with that then they should have contacted us so we could investigate a solution.

Unfortunately we require installation in specific locations in order to function correctly and the location requires admin privileges to install to. Because of this a portable installation is not possible.
I just tried setting both to 150%, and worked perfectly, no error, tried both at 125%, no issue, and both at 100%, no issue. I then tried various other scaling combinations and anytime the scale is different, regardless of what value, the error happens. So seems to be the key factor.
Thanks, thats useful. You are using the very latest Start11 beta?
It's happened again and this time I did lose work. Even every four months is too often. I was looking at a frozen/hung Start11 menu with none of the controls functioning, no keys, no mouse, nothing. So your suggestion above could not be tried. That's the end for Start11 with me.
If your mouse pointer did not respond to any movements then it sounds like your entire pc froze. This will not be a Start11 issue as i

As an experiment (and only an experiment), are you able to set them both to 150% and sign out and in again and see if the problem continues for you. This is purely a test to eliminate mixed dpi as a cause and also 125% as thats a horrible scaling multiplier. If it does not happen then try setting to 125% and again sign out and in again and see if the problem reoccurs. This will allow us to narrow down the differences between your setup and ours further.
I, too, cannot update Windows 11 because of a previous, uninstalled version of Start10. I am a paid subscriber. I have already uninstalled Start10. I installed Start11, and then upgraded to Start11 v2. Due to this problem preventing upgrading Windows itself, I have now uninstalled every Stardock app in the hope of getting Windows 11 to update. Unfortunately, it is now impossible to update Windows 11. I will
