[/quote] I have been using "Single-click" for years. To select multiple files, either contiguous or non-contiguous, you just highlight the icons without clicking. It saves you hundreds of clicks every day.

Start11 does not offer that option, although you are not the first to ask. Your best bet is to create a New folder somewhere on your C: Drive, and then create the folders you want to PIN to the taskbar and place them in this folder. Now, add shortcuts to the items you want in each folder and name them so they appear in the order you want to see, as they will be displayed alphabetically. Make sure to check "Show folders as submenus." Once you have this set up, PIN the main folder to th

As a test, I installed Start11v2.5.3.1, and this issue does not occur. The tab background texture survived both a restart of Explorer and a computer restart. It must be something that changed in 2.5.5.0 or 2.5.5.1. Evidently the Registry setting for this tab is not being respected when Start11 service is started. Okay. I know File Explorer has crashed a few time lately, so I decided to manually restart Explorer as a test. It seem Explorer restarting is at least one reason for what causes this to happen. Please test on your machine and let me know. I'll continue to monitor the issue on my end.

Group Tab's Texture won't Stay Applied in Start Menu Products Stardock Forums

I'm not sure if this has been going on prior to Start11v2 - Beta 2.5.5.1, but the tab texture applied to the first tab in the first group, on the first page, on the Windows 10 style menu won't stay applied. After an indeterminate amount of time, from a few hours to a few days, the background texture will revert to no texture. None of the other tabs in this group or any other group exhibit this issue. Here is the settings info for the tab in question: Windows 11 Pro -22631.5771

Customizing the File Explorer Navigation Pane in OS Customization WinCustomize Forums

Make use of Empty folders to customize Quick Access in the File Explorer navigation pane. This works a little like my Taskbar Separators. Create NEW folders and name them as Section headers, and then give them a unique icon. You can use a different icon for each separator, or use the same icon for each.
