They only auto-survey when they can see something of interest to go to. You can leave it on auto-survey and when its run out of things to do, send it on a long journey into the dark regions of the map and it'll normally start finding things for itself again.

Two Altarian constructors just spontaneously turned into starbases close to one of my planets. No free resources were in sight. I'm guessing a bug here? :notsure:
Click on your name to get your profile with your list of scores in it. Click on your name there and you can enter the Drengin.net code you get on upgrade which then attaches all your scores together.
I've unzipped a whole bunch now and just need to copy them as you described. Thanks a lot. :)
...now that I want to download the mods into the new 1.12 mod directory (I've found that :) ) where exactly do I put all the downloaded .zip files? Its not clear which if any of the subdirectories the library mods fit into. It seems such an obvious question that I'm sure I'm missing something but I couldn't find it anywhere. :notsure:
I went to my empire and clicked on my name to get my list of scores, then clicked on my name again there. It takes you to the registration page where you can add your drengin.net code and any new scores now appear alongside your previous ones. I just noticed that you dont have an empire, so just click on your name in the title to your post to get to your profile. After that you should come and join us in the Cooperative ;) [Message Edited]
What do you call a leader with no followers?Just a man taking a walk!
OK. Own up! Who's been watching the West Wing? ;)
Read a manual on your way to the interview and I'm sure you can wing it ;)
Well, you convinced me. I upgraded to drengin.net today. Dont forget to update your metaverse registration too though or your scores lose connection to your profile. :) [Message Edited]
Hmm, I'm currently thinking of upgrading to drengin.net on the basis of the extra value the expansion will give me. But that wont show up as a pre-order :(
I would like to announce the start of my campaign Kevin the Kitten for President ;p BTW I love the statbot - very nice presentation of the information.
Btw - How about joining an Empire. I know a great one
Its called the Pangaea Cooperative ;)
How about a cooperative? ;)
Hey! I'm still having a hard time winning on challenging! :sniff!:
I thought this was a good idea when I calculated it in another thread (by hand). I'm glad someone can do it more automatically.:) I do think it can add information on the character of the empire.
So, what secret bribes are you offering to suck in all this new membership? I remember you as the lonely stick man not so long ago? :p
I already have this game
But what about all your friends? :)
Hey! Its Windows (tm). Weird and incomprehensible are its middle names! :) I use it 'cos its the only way to play any of the decent games out there! Mind you, I have forgiven Microsoft all its faults for inventing Powerpoint. KK
This looks rather like a prototypical GRID idea for distributed computing. Reading the Seti@home website it looks like you can still sign up with them and they'll migrate you once BOINC is operational. Nice acronym though :) KK (BOINC's into the distance) [Message Edited]
Thank you...but I bet you decided that so you could post a message to show off your new font :)
Got my first steal last night :) I'd built up my espionage levels on all the AI's to complete and then switched them all to zero before it happened.
Yeah, I feel that unless I personally look after my planets I wont notice if they're unhappy or not and give them a morale boost or that they're productive enough to manage some large project now. RL intrudes for me next week. I'm off to Mexico for a conference :(
Do terror stars carry influence? For example, can I make a party palace, then add the 4 terror steps, then rove into enemy territory bringing the influence bonus with me
Oh yes! Mobile party palaces are extremely useful. eEven if you dont want to destroy whole star systems you can flip them.
Aren't the fundamentalists an event that "Evil" empires suffer from? That's why the icons went red once you qualified as evil. [Message Edited]
Well, I'm keeping the empire warm while you guys are busy with Real life :) I've been experimenting with a few smaller games that I can play in a couple of hours and dont drag on so long (I really should start using governors). Anyway, we've just squeaked back to 19 ahead of the Benzoians.
