Latin4567 does have a bad attitude, but none of his posts have that certain troll like quality. Rude, yes. Troll, no.I think your post was inappropriate. I see. Being rude on the message board is acceptable as long as one does not call attention to that fact to the person being rude. Thank you for that lesson in ettiquette, Sir kongit.
Shameless Designs
Both are viable resolutions. The 1280 x 1024 is more popular now and suits many of the larger monitors with a 5:4 aspect ratio. 1280 x 960 is better suited for some of the 17-inch monitors (among others) which still use the 4:3 format.
Just a thought, but why not take the two wallpapers you want, and make one graphic of them with the left monitor pic on the left half and the right monitior pic on the right half?
That was nice and helpful S D. Hmmmmmmmm... You think so? Check this: https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp?BID=WC&id=257407#259694 #16 And this: https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp?BID=WC&id=259039#259686 #13 And my personal favorite: https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp?BID=WC&id=259283#259705 #6
Open the folder where you have the theme file, and check the wallpaper. If the wallpaper is not a bitmap (.bmp) say it's a .jpg for example, you will get the error you described. You can either convert the file to a.bmp and point the theme to the new file with Theme manager, or you can Delete the reference to the wallpaper and apply the wallpaper separately through Display properties. Winamp 5 is not rescource hungry, If I use WM9 the CPU usage is about 80-100%, with Winamp CPU uasge is about 8-15% Whoa... if your cpu is that high using WMP9 relative to Winamp, I'd say that something is seriously wrong with your WMP. Is it a particular skin giving you that kind of reading? I had one skin that would do that to me on WMP, but I
Meow, are you still running Win98SE?
Welcome back, Jafo. Glad to see you.
I use both Winamp 5 and WMP9, and I like both, although there are features in each that I wish the other had. Like Baker, I truly have come to hate WMP's Media Library because it is so much work to keep it from automatically sorting and cataloguing my music according to the way some programmer thinks it should be. Unlike Baker though, I do like having a database for my music, and wish WMP's playlist/library was more flexible and configurable to my taste, and that Winamp's playlist had m
StyleXP installs a hack in memory *only* via a system service in order to fool Windows into thinking that every msstyle file has been authentically signed. It's basically proxy to Windows' theme engine so the folks at TGTSoft have done slightly more coding that anybody here seems to want to give them credit for. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%"
Unload WB and the scrollbars still shake....so I think it's an XP issue Unload WB and the scrollbars still bounce/shake/stutter... true. But Uninstall WB as I had to recently for another reason, and the scrollbars stop bouncing... So I'm thinking it is a WB issue.
On another skin studio note, is anyone else having a problem with Skin Studio itself not recognizing your screen resolution? Specifically, when Skin Studio launches on my rig, running at 1024x768, it always opens with a window that is about 1280 wide and maybe 600 tall, with about 20% of the right side of the window off the screen. Then, when I doubleclick the title bar to maximize the window, the contents of the right-most pane are always cut off because they exceed the width of the wi
proggie = program = Logon Studio You already have it.
I read your posts. Several times. And that's all I have to say about that. /me wanders away speechless and a bit confuzzled.
I run WB under WinXP home, so I can't speak directly to your question, but since I updated to version 4.1, and with each subsequent update since, my scrollbars AND the associated window contents will bounce up and down occasionally when I move or resize the windows. For me this only happens when I have an IE browser window open, and though it's a bit annoying, the problem is not persistent, so I have just chosen to ignore it. Sorry, I can't offer any help or solution, but I thought this

I'm not real clear on what you are asking for here. Are you asking for a theme that resembles a Thermaltake case or some of their other accessories? Or just colors to match them? I do like the design of some of Thermaltake's products. I'm just not real clear on how they would translate to a WB skin, but I could see some possibilities for a DX theme. Could you be a bit more specific on what you are asking for?
Most of what those who have posted before me have said is sensitive, sympathetic, and fairly sensible advice. And if all that this lady has told you is true, I hope that she follows at least some of the advice posted here. However... I have a friend.... a lady friend, and she's currently in an abusive relationship [far from here, nothing I can do except talk to he

But, what does "hack" mean, just for academic reasons? TIAdabe (....hoping the answer isn't too complicated) Put simply, a "hack," in this sense of the word, is an unauthorized (by the original program author - in this case, MicroSoft) modification of software (in this case, the uxtheme.dll of MS Windows XP). The purpose of the original hack in
It seems to run ok if loaded and left alone, but I don't live in Livonia That's what I like about you, Stumpy. You're able to see the good side of things. /me has visited Livonia many times and wouldn't want to live there either. <img src="http://i

I consider it a step in the right direction, at least. I don't need Ma Bell to reach out and touch my girlfriend anymore. And unlike Kentucky, the people here don't think that a cable connection is something you use to pull your truck out of the mud. Joke
