Yup its actually a debugging feature Stardock use. Not sure if its going to stay in beta 4 or not but they'll turn it off before release.
Ugleb
I imagine they'll want us to stick to the 1 issue per thread format we've been using since beta 1. Putting multiple bugs in one big thread makes it hard to track down specific points and stuff gets lost.
Previous builds have been released around 5.00-7.00pm USA time (I forget which timezone exactly) so for us in europe we're looking at around 10pm area.
So the more you drink the more articulate you become? Funky.
*COUGH* Universal Translator malfunction *COUGH* Problem? What problem? /me whistles
* I will now hide awaiting those who wish total accuracy to hunt me down * There is no escape, they're implacable foes....
My comp is about 2.5 years old and its a 2.0ghz. Modern games will ask for relatively modern hardware, having said that I don't think the final build is going to push a computer bought in the last 2 years too hard.
I believe that you should research the technology to allow you to build anything, I my opinion you should be able to start with the spaceport and then start developing your technology and then you choose what path you want to follow. It's very close to that already, you only have the most basic of technologies at your disposal. You have no wea
I think the man from Stardock said the Paypal is in the works. It's just taking awhile to sort out.
Argh scary thread! Slippage makes Ugleb cry! Fingers crossed eh?
Hell that was a good answer, that possibility hadn't occured to me! But as you say, I haven't actually seen it happen either so you're probably right about bonuses being applied post-colonisation.
Just so long as the game doesn't favour the player who has the largest hulls I'm happy. I love small ships!
/me gibbers /me pulls himself together You get 'promoted' by giving useful feedback on features and bug hunting, as well as your community contribution. Who gets promoted is done entirely on Stardock discretion, you don't earn 'points' by posting in every thread or anything like that, in fact spamming will make yourself less likely to be promoted. /me returns to gibbering
This is what i think should be done to satisfy The Lowan Federation(small Jet-fighter ships) and the ugleb nomads(slow warship style) Ugleb is a nomad in the Lowan Capital until further notice and is considered a enemy on Lowan Federation Grounds but is a Freind out of borders... .....................
Ok two things. 1. You're taking the engine concept waaaay too literally. Deep breaths. 2. That was the most coherent post you have written on ths forum!
Why do you care which tile your colony hub is in?
What's all this argument of races about? I stopped reading anything where the words 'assimiliation' and 'borg' appear in the same post. You aren't alone in your bemusement.
I think the plan is for each major race to have its own aesthetic but they aren't all in yet.
Going off all the previous stuff, it is intended that a full fleet of tiny hulls is equal to a full fleet of huge hulls. The winner will be decided by your weapons and defenses vs theirs, not by who brought the biggest ships. It's going to hinge on balancing for sure.
If you've already placed your pre-order I'd imagine that you've been charged already. If you were planning to buy when beta 4 rolls out (on thursday) I'd avoid waiting too long as Stardock will likely close beta access again after a week or three.
They show the best in lowan Entertainment and show documentaries on The uglebs I swear to god this guy is stalking me now.
Well game balancing is meant to start in beta 4 as the previous beta's were technically technology tests. Miniaturisation tech makes modules smaller. More advanced engines get smaller and cheaper, to make the ship go faster you add more engines. That's intentional, not a bug. Can't remember now but there might actually be some faster engines near the end of the tech tree, but I'm not sure. I've only played a couple of ga
Hell I want to see that design with textures, that's alot of fins!
If you fixed the turn bug I'll be happy.
I think I'm being invaded by a vast army of Lowa fanatics. Now that is scary!
