It looks like Microsoft is going to expand their AI to rtx after all. So far copilot is first on the list to be updated to work with the 40 series of rtx cards. I am sure all other AI features such as "recall" will follow suit. Unfortunately, with Nvidia being Nvidia only the 40 series cards (or higher) will be supported as an AI compatible device for Microsofts AI features. Even in the early days of using EP, I believe I heard the developer stating that his solution was not the best one long term. Even he seemed to advocate that the best solution was to build an actual taskbar and EP always was meant to be kind of a bridge until that happened. I really like how far arm processors have come. I almost want one as a secondary device. My opinion on it depends on how easy it will be to turn off. As long as Microsoft keeps making "on / off" sliders for these features I don't think it will be a big deal. If there isn't an easy option to turn it off then I do think that would be a big privacy concern. I do favor privacy, and as has been the case since Windows 10, you need to know your slider options on a Window device anymore. Recall isn't a feature I plan to use at all.
