In the context of the Vasari faction's overall design philosophy and gameplay mechanics, do the Kultorask's features fit or differ from traditional Vasari strategies and technologies in previous versions of the Sins of a Solar Empire game?
If we are talking about Sins:Rebellion, then the titan is very much traditional to it. Abilities serve the same role, but there are also some changes. For one, I would say that even thou

There will be changes to minor factions on steam release, to say the least :) As far as pirates go, do you colonize a planet near them? Pirates have a "zone of control", where they will attack any planet with weak defences, if it's close to their base. So those raids could be coming from that
Novalith canon ? How could you Disabled them in sins1 excepting kill it whit units.
He means that there was a settings option. As far as Sins 2 goes, it is worth trying it out with the super weapons, as they have been reworked, and most reasons people wanted them disabled in the first place were addressed. We are always looking for feedback, so keep us updated :)

So assuming casual gameplay style, a dedicated fleet of javelis cruisers (or other high pierce ships) would counter a mono capital ship fleet. The philosophy of many changes in Sins 2, is to remove hard caps from the player, and make the game flow in such a way, which will make you want to build more than just 1 type of ship. So instead of just prohibiting you from building multiple capships, this is shifted to gameplay, where it allows you to build unlimited capships, but yo

Hey, to add my 5 cents to Publius - there are some amazing civs you can download from the workshop. But if you want to make it super quick, you could just duplicate civs. When selecting your own, you can just duplicate existing ones. I would however recommend playing around with their colour, so that you can tell different copy civs apart. But otherwise, there is nothing stopping you playing vs 10 Drengin clans, all willing to subdue the Earth Alliance ;)

Hey, different ships have different roles. A full capship fleet, will level up slower and cost more. In super late game, maybe you will be getting more of a capship focused fleet, but before that, going capships only, will likely lead to your demise. Especially if you get hardcountered by frigates with high pierce

Hello! Do you mean, you cannot load a save file, or find other players? If you want to find other players, I recommend joining our official discord, and search for fellow players there: https://discord.gg/galciv

Hey, those buff the output of the fields for both empires. So military alliance buffs military output, research alliance the research output and culture alliance the culture output. It also bolsters your long term relationship with the other empire.
Should I say something...or just not buy it? Actually, this just convinced me not to pick up the expansion pass in the summer steam sale. I appreciate the work, but to make me excited enough to give my credit card, that work has to go in the right places. It's just not.
Hey, could you expand on the reasons with your dissatisfaction? Is it just not your type of thing, or were there some specific idea

Hey Bamdorf, what indicators do you think would be fitting for Dread Lords? They are traditionally red, so if there are other civs with that color, overlapping is indeed possible. When I want to trade specific resource, I usually use the arrows to switch between civs, without leaving the diplo menu. It does streamline the process a bit.

Hello Dorian, thanks for the detailed feedback. The map generator tries to spread out the civs. But if there are more civs than sectors, some will get into a single sector. The PlayerStartingLocationSetting is a good insight. Could be that it does not give the human player a preference, it is supposed to

Hey, when creating/editing a civ, you should be able to see this: That button will give you access to an entire new menu, where you will be able to customize your species: <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/72/44/7244201/dd936317-2d2c-4cfa-8474-4fe0d8f0396d.png"
One of my biggest issues with the game is the map settings and in fact with previous titles as well. It's far too random the exact same setting can have extremely different outcomes and just when you have a slight grip on things a patch will change it again. I've tried modding to get the settings I want and given up, basically some things I can change successfully e.g sector size and amount of sectors to a small degree but ot
