Diplomat Peace Phoenix - 1/25/2005 1:41:38 PM The scores I mean can I still add onto the score tha was started with GC with not addons??? Yes, but you need to convert your score with the AP serial Id
Great point PP, how could I foget to mention that, I couldn't submit for several days after I got AP. LOL

It's more of an Honorary title than anything else. In the Guardian empire, we call ourselves Knights, and we will occasionally vote on things, sometimes all Guardians, and sometimes Knights only.
Yes, your scores will not be affected, and any games you play on AP will be added to your existing profile. Click on anyones name in the forum, and you can pull up a history of thier submissions. On this history page you will see the version they used for that submission. When you upgrade to AP, you will see the AP is shown in the profile.
Uhhhmmm DG, do you really think this should be the contRact forum rather than the contact forum? Come & chat with us > The Galactic Core
How about the possibility of using only Stardock approved mod's?
You can get UP to 10, not more than 10. And these are like gold. They will not only give you income every turn, they are like an umbilical cord to another civ. If you have a trade route to another civ, if they go to war with you, they will lose the income from your trade route + the income from how ever many routes they have with you. My general rule for trade routes is to send 1 freighter each to each major civ as soon as I research the trade tech, and park the freighter next to t
Research Inc!!!
Basically by offering it to us directly, they can avoid having to give up the vast majority of the profits to a distribution company, and in turn offer us consumers/end-users something we see as a high value. Think of the cost of burning thousands of CD's, the packaging, the warehousing, the freight to get them to the stores, and the mark up of the store that sells it to you. That is at least 3 companies pulling a share of the profit pie. With TGN, they get it all, and don't have to spend a d
The Mod's, once installed, are available to all the AI as well as the player. At least all the Mod's I know of. I use a Political party called Research Inc. This particular party is, like any other party, able to be chosen by ANY race. The reason that the AI VERY sledom pick it is that while it gives you a nice bomus to research, diplomacy, and PQ, it also Gives Large negative bonuses (if that makes sense) to HP, Defence, and I think attack as well. The theory behind this party was
A TGN subscription also offers continuous updates as soon as they are released, and access to download (at no charge) all of the games listed there. As to the question of money-making. Buying from TGN puts the money into the hands of the game maker, They will actually make more from purchases there than they will from store bought titles. This gives us fans a great opportunity to DIRECTLY support the makers of these great games. I can tell you this...I know I'll be renewing m
You also might want to want to try Gigantic, Common or Rare, Tight.
When you go to the domestic screen, I think it is third from the right on the bottom Nav-bar, you will find a screen with 2 horizontal slide bars on the top left, and 3 vertical sliders on the bottom left. These are your spending sliders. The ones on the top control how much you want to tax your people and how much of this income you want to spend. (As noted above, set the spending rate to 100%, and the tax rate to the highest rate that will maintain 100% morale {use the planet button, I thin
You can change a race's "opinion" of you by giving them things like cash, ships, or tech's. If you start to see some race dropping below neutral in relations with you, it is usually only just a matter of time before they go to hostile in relations and then to war with you. I try to keep the AI races at friendly with me whenever possible. I find that giving tech's (2 or 3 at a time seems to work well) will generally move them up one or two places in relations. Be very careful about allying with another race. They can quickly drag you into a war. My general rule is to not ally with anyone until I'm "the man" militarily speaking.
That tactic is also very good at keeping the military power of your "opponents" down.
Only the sector that it is in. At the higher difficulty levels if you try to build them inside the target system's sector it WILL make them angry and you'll be ~asked~ to remove it/destroy it/give it to them. If you're playing at a high level, simply put them in the adjacent sector... Sometimes it takes ALOT of upgrades (or even 3 or more SB's in several adjacent sectors) to make a system "flip".
In the game, they are called Terror Stars, and it requires 5 constructors to build it. Follow the directions E.D. gave above for positioning your fleets of constructors, I usually let them fly back and forth at the nearest border to the target planet, then (when all fleets are in position) move them all directly next to the target, and build a SB. All other constructors add Terror Star modules (found under the military tab). The last module is the Terror Star bridge and this costs 5000BC. <b
Mace, you've already created a topic there! EDIT: Of course, that was before the nice new look of the site. Looks great by BTW!!! [Message Edited]
I LOOOOOVE the Fundamentalists! (Well...that's because I play on good morality) When they show up, the Evil Civ's will usually lose several planets due to defection (I've even seen a couple majors entirely wiped out when they appear). As to your mention of the Yor, we Galactic Guardians have declared them as our sworn enemies. Glad to see that others out there feel the same. Happy hunting. :HOT:
iral. In this way, as they gain experience they gain ranks and enhanced abilities/bonuses.
I think someone commonated in our general direction!
okay thanks. So all you have to do is basically build the starbase in the same sector...a sector being 1 grid square. So you get all the bonuses of the modules that you install...and you basically get a freebee if you build the base on a resource.
If you are fortunate enough to have a resource in one of your "Occupied" sectors, you can build improvements on it that will BOTH enhance the abilities within that sector AND enhance that resources abilities empire wid
To elaborate on the great info PP gave you... The resources are: Blue Cube - Cultural Resource (Influence) Red Cone - Military Resource (Hit points, Attack, Defence), [Perhaps PP has info on this that he can elaborate on] Green Sphere - Economic Resource (Economy) Yellow Cylinder - Morale Resource (Morale) Purple Diamond(3D) - Research Resource...my favorite (Research)
ing the whole influence system altogether.
Yes folks the leader of the mighty Stardock, Brad (alias Frogboy) graces us with his presence yet again. (Nice emoticon BTW Brad). Yet another reason to get TGN, this company cares. And no, I am not Cy Spurling, I am not "only a client, but also the president..." LOL :D LOL
