Here's hoping the chill does not extend to our ability to sign up a new player for Team G.
Team E has ways of warming up potential goody-goodies... MWHAAAHHAAAHAAAA!!!! Of course, Team G(ood fer nuttin) would probably object to such recruiting methods. ;p
Bam_Bam
Sirian, I almost posted a new RB thread in the new empire forum, but thought that honor ought to go to our august emperor--would like to migrate our thread (i.e., post a new one) over to the new Empire Forum (see tab on the left), or would you like to delegate this task?

Woot Woot!! Perhaps it is time for the Aldarians to lease to us their DHABB Trade Good! :SURPRISED: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :HOT:
Oh--ok Theoden. I did not remember the periodic forced recount (most of us RB types are not that long in the tooth around here) :)
Not really. It is unusual for a submitted game to LOWER your score, unless the game score is well below the average score for your current 30-day block (e.g., you have ten 60k masos, and submit a 5k crippling score, the score for your current block would go from 60*10/sqrt(10)= 189.7k to (60k*10+5k)/sqrt(11) = 182.4k). I doubt that any FotR folks are submitting games that far below their current 30-day average. Even if they were, the 250k decrease is too high for that to be th
I guess this explains that...
Not exactly. The changes to score only kick in when a new game is submitted; e.g., if you haven't posted a game since December 24th, the score for that game (and the ones previous to it) does not take the 5% (or higher) month hit until you post a game after January 23rd (or so-->30days after)). There must be something else at work here.
to us plebians
BAH! Realms Beyond does not recognize that term, unless it refers to all of us. While skills may differ among each player, we prize accomplishments where each of us is going beyond where we have gone before--as well as how we get there (and how we tell the story!)
Thanks for the information Cari! I had guessed that it was a server update issue. It was surprising, since the update frequency I have experienced to date has been extremely fast. Thank you for the quick update.
All hail the power of the Spam--AHEM--I mean FORCE! LOL
Looks like you are having the same problem that I am having--score shows in the profile, but the game and score change is not showing on the overlord score listing page. You have 17 games played, but the overlord page only shows 16 (and your score based on 16, even though your player profile shows the correct profile score for all your games). I do not know what is going on here--seems rather odd.
On a related note, anyone who lives in Shanghai is welcome to join the Jedi Republic. Free lightsaber avalible for all Southeast Asian recruits.
LOL LOL LOL Nothing like sticking with your message. After all, the Jedi mind trick can also be accomplished with spam-like repetition. I am Elmer J. Fudd, millionaire, I own a mansion and a yacht--AGAIN-- I am Elmer J. Fudd, millionaire, I own a mansion and a yacht--AGAIN-- I am Elmer J. Fudd, milliona
Just poking a little fun, Arcilte...with all the posts, it was starting to look a bit like the election scenes from "Gangs of New York". "What do ya mean ya only voted once?" LOL [Message Edited]
Hey Jedis--are you sure you don't belong with G.R.O.S.S.? You recent recruitment techniques are starting to look a bit like Shanghai tactics. LOL
I do not think that is my problem. Since I have so few games--I can do a quick calculation. The individual listings for overloads has by 17 games submitted and the associated score for those games. Must be an update issue--ah well.
So I see (posted in our thread!). Wonder what can be done to refresh individual data (it still shows me @17 games instead of 18, even though my latest game is registering for the empire)?
You can go to the details screen and spend $$ to help make citizens happy. Concentrate on building morale boosting improvements on these planets, and they will be happy shortly. You can abandon a planet, but if you are getting flips--better to improve it and get the benefits of a free planet.

Mill Mountain--yep, that's the one. Gotta love that star landmark.
Cool. My sister lives in Roanoke. We've always had a blast when we've visited. I love the market downtown! My 1st daughter loved that small zoo (can't remember the name of it--has lots of cats, though).
Aha..forgot about US460! In what specific town are you located, Theoden?
One freighter per route. You can have more than one route between two systems.
I-81 does have some good country around it, but the traffic (1000s of semis) can take away from the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mtns and Shenendoah Valley. If you can take some detours--US11 has some great scenery, and Shenendoah Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway are gorgeous!
Don't get me wrong, I do like DC. My main beef is that it is absolutely LACKING in character. Too much people turnover to build a true city character. Unfortunately, living south of DC means that it is a royal PITA getting up to Charm City.
Though I have to echo your good thoughts about Virginia, Thoeden, please do not heap insults on Charm City. Baltimore is quite a fun town (much better than DC, which is not really a city--BTW I work in DC).
