The +Minion damage abilities, whether from Morale or from items, is horribly overpowered when used by Oak or Erebus. It's not so bad for the summoners like Queen and Sedna because they're limited to 4 minions at a time. Oak and Erebus, however, can crank out their minions. If you have +50 minion damage, for Erebus at 18 night walkers that's a +900 damage boost. For Sedna, it's +200. My friends and I rolled up a couple 3v5 nightmare AI games to test the cheese

Yea, Oak spirits need an immediate nerf in serious way. I'd like to keep them as they are, but they really need to reduce their number significantly. One of the major problems as I see it is the way +Minion health/damage items and skills work. It's a flat amount so whereas a summoning demigod might max out at 4x(+minion damage), Oak is getting 12x(+minion damage). It scales far, far too well. http://img
While the number of minions have been reduced, that doesn't mean that their strength stayed the same between Beta 3 and Beta 3A. The power of idol minions has been increased, and there is a stronger growth as you increase idol power. I'd certainly recommend giving it a few games.
Thanks! :) Any chance of getting patch notes so we testers have a clearer idea of what's going on?
dude, before doing retarded comment about balance, you need to do real testing noob like you need to stop posting about balance when you have no idea what you are talkign about sedna actually need a fix, if you get rape by sedna, you have a problem the only fix sedna need is : fix the yeti, they are too weak and useless right now
There's really no need for the namecalling. In case you're wondering what causes this pain (i.e. 1 day delays) picture this: It takes about an hour to do a full build of Demigod. Then it takes another hour to upload it to the FTP and another hour to download it. Then, if a bug is found that got past GPG, the process restarts. That's basically what happened tonight. So
Well you sound delightful. We are working hard to address the bug of mean people being on the Internet. Stay tuned.
I actually LOL'd reading that. Evanescent, your post would go over a lot better without the "American" descriptors left and right. There's 300 million of us so we have our share of douchebags, but last time I checked stupidity and lack of manners is pretty much a universal human trait.

Nightmare AIs can be very difficult to take down period if they have really good gear. I've seen some HP and HP regen that is just insane :D I'd imagine Sedna on Nightmare is quite difficult to kill, but on the flip side it's not like she really do *that* much to you. She's the weakest demigod offensively (imo), so it'd make sense that she's the hardest to kill. When you were unable to kill her as the Torchbearer, what was your spec?

I'd suggest not mucking around with ports on your router. The point of these betas is to work out the connectivity issues so that port forwarding isn't needed. Can you specify what kind of internet connection you have and what kind of router/firewalls you're using? Any detail you can provide helps.

Lol, that's awesome Frogboy. Since I'm a hardcore geek, I ended up shelling out for a fast 37" 1080p set for my PC and I haven't regretted the purchase for a second. Watching a huge battle in Sins or a game of Demigod on a "big" (relative to PC monitors) screen is epic.

Leonon, It's not pure profit on every sale. You have bandwidth and overhead for each sale as well. While I doubt the distribution costs scale like they would with physical distribution (and Kryo seems to acknowledge this), it's still there. More sales equal more servers, bandwidth, etc.
Its true. if all my PC games were the $15 games I buy when steam goes on their 25-75% sales, I'd be buying a lot more games. (of course, I'd be even more backed up on my games, but still) I'm actually surprised more companies don't go for the "lower price for same quality!" sales pitch for the AAA title games.
Yea I was talking about that with my friend.
