dabe - No problem. It really has become a great program. I never really used the free version of OD simply because there were irritating things like that (CPU usage) and such. But for me OD+ has really become stable enough that, at certain times depending on my desktop flavor of the week, I disable the windows taskbar completely. There are a couple ways. If you have Outlook Express (OE) check in the Tools/Options/General tab. At the bottom is an option to make OE your default Mail app and your default News app. As long as it is set to be the default news app just click the link for the Stardock Newsgroups on the support page here: https://www.stardock.com/support.asp It should automatically launch OE and have that news server set up. Can you delete the folders then download them again and this time go a save as, then install from disk in the WB config utility? I have had a few themes that I downloaded but they didn't install well until I did it that way. Try it out and see if it works for you.

dabe - The only time I see any sort of CPU hit with OD plus is when it is animating. That is to say, yes, the CPU jumps when a tray slides out or back in, or when I wave my mouse over the zoomer dock. But it really doesn't affect performance at all because it really is only for that brief instant. Sorry, don't have Dashboard for my Pocket PC. But it can be done pretty easily with either WisBar Advance or Icbar. Perhaps Dashboard has an option of what bmp to use for the bottom bar? Just tossing out an idea.

GSmith-I know that Jeff Bargmann (the lead [only?] developer) checks out the ObjectDock newsgroup pretty frequently. That is where I have been posting, as well as many others, and he is pretty good at responding. Not promising anything, but I would go there first and see what happens. I really like the idea of having tabbed backgrounds as a separate section, or having the section divided some more. It can be difficult on those days when there are lots of icons be uploaded to notice one of the great tabbed backgrounds.

Right click your zoomer dock and uncheck the option "Lock Dragging". That should allow you to move and remove icons. This shouldn't be a problem with tabbed docks as they don't have this lock option. Things should just be able to move all over and pop right off. As far as a changing the system tray icons I don't have any advice. I just left click and hold on the icon for a second or two and the dock item properties pops right up. No problems. My only recommendation is to uninstall

Very true zorven. I fear that is why far too many good companies end up vanishing: complacency. So I try to do what I can. Not for another year and a half or two. Latest I heard Longhorn was slotted for a 2006 release. And to be honest, Windows XP is just about one of the best choices I have ever made. Solid OS. I have been incredibly pleased with it all around. Don't consider it a waste at all.
