Wow, haven't had that one happen. Some friends of ours however, well, their son would have just jumped off. Crazy kids. Mine are too scaredy cats to do that sort of thing!

LadyCleve, there are a couple ways to do it. First, above where you enter text you should see a little button that says Image. Clicking on that will bring up a box asking you to enter the url for the image. Just right click on any smiley (or any image for that matter) and select Properties. That will open a little box and you will see an entry that says Address (URL). That is what you need. Highlight it and copy, then paste that into the Image bo

Okay, here is another page with tons of smileys. Not the easiest to navigate, but still lots here to use. http://pages.prodigy.net/rogerlori1/emoticons/pageindex.htm

Mignuna, I am so glad that I could, in some small way, make you smile. I have a collection I have saved over at my own website, but I have been too lazy to do anything other than upload them, so no page with all of them listed. I will put a bunch here that folks are welcome to link to, at least until Duke thinks I have used too much bandwidth! Enjoy all! <img src="http://www.duke.edu/~pjj3/Smili

Ultimately it is your blog to do with as you please (within the rules of course). If someone really wants to write about politics, great. If someone (such as myself) likes to customize their OS and wants to write about it, more power to them. And if someone wants to use their blog to generate points, that is there prerogative, and not our place to tell them they shouldn't

Glad you got it sorted out Steve. One word of advice I would offer. Once you get it set up the way you want save that as a "Theme" and backup that .ini file somewhere else on your HD. That way if you ever lose your settings (as I have) you can just load that theme again and poof, you have everything back the way you had it. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle

Just unzip the whole package (or just the ones you want, it is up to you. Me, I don't like to unzip icons for programs I don't and never will have) into the folder Stardock/ObjectDock/Images. Or make your own folder. I just made a folder in Stardock/ObjectDock called Dock Icons and dump all mine there. Once you have the icons unzipped somewhere in your ObjectDock folder right click on the program icon you want to change and click Dock Item Properties. That will bring up a dialog that allows

I suppose it really is true when they say that variety is the spice of life (though I always preferred oregano). It helps to make things interesting, allows us to open our minds, and hopefully connect with some really cool, really great people.

However, i found that hardly anyone can see most of my sarcasm when I write, so I try to keep that in mind when I write. Boy oh boy, I hear you there. That is why I am going to start using "Sarcastic Green" when using sarcasm. Any thing meant to be taken as such will be green in my posts. Should help

Janders-We are due near the end of March. My wife has gone late with the two previous pregnancies, so we are planning on this one coming late too. Gideon-Thanks! But I feel I must clarify. This new one will make 5 in the family, not 5 kids (yet, we just might get there, not sure yet though).

Was it just a collection of icons in png format? Or was it an actual theme? If it is just a bunch of icons I just extract those to my Dock Icons folder and apply the ones I want to use manually. If it is an actual theme you need to have some sort of theme.ini (whatever the theme is called) in the Themes folder, then you can apply that theme from the Load Theme dialog in the Dock Properties box. Hope that wasn't too terrible an explanation. Buzz if you have any more questions. <

I love being a daddy. I really, really do. But today I really had to remind myself of that. Aubrey was actually pretty happy for most of the day. That was a definite change from previous days. But when Jessica got home from school, well, it got tough. She simply didn't want to do anything we asked her to. To be fair, I don't think it was deliberate. Sh

The US Olympic Basketball Team. Oh WE’RE the greatest team in the world. NOBODY can beat us. Bunch of whiny overpaid ungrateful pussies! Could not agree more. I loved watching Puerto Rico and Lithuania put those ego-inflated players in their place. And they did it by playing real, good, team ba

That is really one of the terrible limitations of communicating on the internet. We lose all those inflections and such that help us understand each other better.
