I think the overlay feature is really going to make Desktop X and widgets and objects not only more popular but more usable. As I mentioned in my most recent article on my desktop customization, the overlay feature is what I am using to keep my desktop clean, but still have access to the great objects I want there. It is just another level of user control, and one that I find to be quite welcome.

Thanks Dusk411. There are a lot more experiences from medical school I should write about, and probably will now that I have a bit more time. It was actually tough to write about it when I was smack dab in the middle of it. Some distance from my rotations will help me have a little better perspective.
