I have also a logitec mouse. And after some tests, it appears that mouse driver isn't correctly used in fullscreen mode. For example, pressing the 2 buttons to get a mousewheel behavior. But I got the correct behavior if I play in a window mode. And I have set the resolution of the window mode to fit exactly the display used. So I have a window that take the fullscreen.

I am not personally requesting it though I would like Tactical implemented but if there IS, for those that don't want it, could Turn it Off in any game? Well, the posts #56 and #59 in this thread https://www.galciv2.com/Forums.aspx?ForumID=164&AID=88762 give a lot of insight why you shouldn't hold your breath for a tactical combat. In any

I really don't like all the PQ 0 worlds being included on the map. Well, if the PQ 0 worlds weren't on the map, then the Stellar cartography will be too powerful since it allows to show planets on the minimap. You will know then where nice stars are. And the only race that doesn't start with stellar cartography is the human.

You know, while the cinematic battle viewer is a really sweet bit of code, I'm not really for it. It will continue to make users request control of their ships while in the fleet battler. People will want control. Heck, I'm against adding to Micro-management in GC2, and I will have the occasional fleet battle where I want control (because I think I can make my fleet do bet

One late game battle was pretty painful, my brand new "Debbie" (my wife's name) class battle ship was alongside a bunch of "Victory" (older model) class battle ship and the Drengin's fighters were powerful enough to take out the Victory class ships on their own. I am wondering, did all your battleships concentrate their fire on one Drengin fighter e

This would maybe add a whole new dimension to space battles. Do you destroy the ship outright? Do you risk attacking with marines and losing? If the battle is won do you skuttle or repair? The rewards could be great, the losses even greater! Well, there is a very simple problem: we have no influence on the battle. There is no tactical battle. You ar

On top of this, it looks like the name of the ship didn't change to the upgraded model. Well, that make sense since you could have renamed your ship without any reference to the model. Maybe if the name start with the name to the model (and only in that case), the upgrade process should upgrade your ship.
I don't think I ever registered through stardock when I got the game as I was in Germany when I bought it.
Well, you can (and should) register it. And you can update to the latest version (in english) through Stardock Central.

When I click on Earth to build my second colony ship instead of having the starting ships I have all the custom made ships from the previous game. Also they all cost 0 and take 0 weeks to build. Are you playing a normal game or a metaverse game? Have you exited GCII before starting a new game?

You seem to be missing an important point. If you invade an enemy colony and then destroy it, that planet WILL be recolonized by one of your competitors. Every habitable piece of rock you control is one your enemies do not. You should look at colonies with low ratings as strategic military outposts. Letting an opponent have them gives them a place to refuel and spread infl

I havve desugned ships that show up in future games but never become available even when the tech is attained. It remembers me a problem I have posted in the bug thread. Are you playing the same race or a custom one? Are you playing a normal game or a metaverse game? Are you sure you have all the required techs and abilities (miniaturization level es

That raises a good point. Why are we forced to colonize a planet upon takeover? What if you don't want it, but you want to remove your enemy from it? Is there a way to "abandon" it so that your taxes and approval won't suffer from a low-rating planet? Well, in the detail window of the planet management screen, you have the option to destroy a colony

Finding a ship that has been built is difficult. It would be more useful, to me at least, if clicking on the blue "ship created" icon that falls down moves display to the planet that created the ship, rather than pulling up the list of ships I can create from the planet. Well, if you haven't set any ships to defend your planets, then the ships that a

would be really nice if you could choose to accept the planets or not caseu if the computer is trying to give me 5 level 3 or 2 planets in the middle of enemy territory i dont want them in any way shape or form they just suck in money in upkeep and in a couple of turns they are taken by the computer anyways Why not destroy the colony then? Perhaps in GCII but in GCI you weren't warned but ut was announced Well, I think it was already listed as bug. But I may be wrong The problem, Phoenix, is that you get new planets to supervise, but no notice </TR

The Torian have an incredible advantage: their ability of sensor + 30 is translated into colony ship having a sensor range of 32 parsec instead of 2 parsec like all other races. This means that their colony ships know exactly where to go since generally the sensor range is greater than the allowed range for ship movement.

Well, if I remember correctly, the PQ galactic ressources was taken out of GC I since it was found too unbalancing. And don't forget that the GC I metaverse submission checked your empire wide PQ bonus to see if it was greater that 40%, triggering in that case an anomalous flag.
