The succession games do help you learn what you are doing better. I took many of my strategys from their gameplay, and I have gradually worked my way up from the bottom, as you see from my profile. The starbase thing is a definte style change, but look at it from the money standpoint too. You don't pay for maintiance. How much did you spend on maintaining those bases, and how much do you spend now? Are you building all three of the base wonders? I am sure Stardock will do what they can

Its all right Jim. Just steal her and blow her up, and you'll get another version of her. LOL
Up to 11 Pawnbrokers now. Wow.
I meant that the events would have set numbers of increase to those levels. So at least the number of events would exist to allow pure good and pure evil on any map.
I found one exception to the lack of events. My last game I got events about once every 4 turns in mid/late game. I usually don't even get 4 events total on my map size (small). Maybe the events should allow a morality of 90/10 at least on any map size.
Just an idea, mostly elaborating on Pascal. Use the influence numbers of systems to give a boarder radius, kinda like culture in CivIII. Say a 1-20 influence star has one radai "no trespassing" influence, so you can declare war on those who pass. More influence, more range around the star. And leave map wide influence as is, so culture is not a part of it at all. This way you can own part of a sector. So in this case, population would determine your boarder.
Hey, cool thanks J.T. I didn't know that there was a way to do that. Thanks for help. Shout if you ever need anything else Genghis Hank. You will find the community willing to help. Also, you may want to join an empire. You will find the listing of them on the Metaverse page, and I find that it helps give a sense of community. Just look over the empires, and decide which one is best for you, if you want to join one.
Do you mean the name when you go to submit your score? If you do, I know what you mean. I had a problem with that earlier. I don't know how to delete it off that screen. If you don't mean that, then could you rephrase it, and I know someone here will try to help. Glad to be of service.
I don't know if anyone has played it, and I don't say it was the best, but Earth 2150 and the Moon Project had an interesting vehicle design. You would research basic vehicle designs, and basic weapon research. Then, you would add weapons to mounts on the vehicles, and different vehicles and weapons would cost more or less. Just another game that could be considered.
Congrats to Kazzryl, Rear Admiral!
I think it is that you have better chance of finding ships, and finding an adjacent planet with PQ 26.

I am actually happy with that, Alex or Cari always builds the Diplo Trans before anyone else in my games, usually around turn FIVE
I got that I think in 1.19 or 1.2, but for Arcea. A few turns after, they became the I-League. Kinda wierd, but I thought that they could have that minor race conversion, so I didn't report it till now. :notsure:
Thanks very much Brackard. That works great! I'll just add the lines for the techs, and I have a great research tree! I wish I had this when I started playing. I was researching all of those dead-end techs. Jab-Combat Transport carry 5 times as many troops.
Brackard, could you put it in Microsoft Works Spreadsheet type? I don't have Office, I have the crappy version... (:(
Anything that is suggested by the people of this community is taken by Stardock to help improve the game, I have noticed, if the proposal is consider feasible. There have been many comments that have been made by members of this community, and I believe that Stardock appreciates the feedback. Just remember, all the world can be a stage, and we are merely players.
I think what Ook Ook was trying to say with the asteroids is to speed up the day. If he wasn't, a polar shot or equatorial shot might do the trick if it was just right.
Be careful with that game. It may submit as anomalyous because of that high score PQ. I don't know how that could happen w/o a Precursor, or with the PQ bonuses on Maso. But again, anomaylous warning.
I think that the moons of Jupiter are probably the best spot to terraform, for the reasons listed above. But I personally don't think a manned mission to Mars is worth the cost and time, because anything that needs done on Mars can be done quicker and MUCH safer with robots. Manned missions are not needed until probes identify class M planets, or until we establish a moon base.
I have always noticed auto-survey showing as auto-pilot. I thought that was standard.
It is believed that all gas giants have a metal core (see post 19). This is what keeps the gas together. Ook Ook-I think it radiates both energy and visible light. Kyro-It was a shame that he cut the whole cast, but what exactly was there to take that too. There were several hundred of all the characters, from the multiple realities, and Arthur was just jumping inbetwen them. And we know that a Vogon will not leave a job unfinished.
Congrats Spellforce! :HOT:
Yet Jupiter produces more light that it absorbes. Care to offer an explanation? It produces about three times as much light as it takes in from the sun.
It comes with Phasers.
