btw - I hadn't seen your last post before my response. So, I assume you feel the moderation is too strict? I have no idea what you are referring to with my brutal rejection notice. I don't believe I've ever sent a brutal rejection to any moderated wallpaper. The only thing I can think of is one artist who wrote to me shouting and demanding that I explain why his work was not accepted (after the moderation notice). My response to him was a probably more complete and honest than most I s

digitaljames... I'm still confused as to what your meaning is. Are you complaining that the moderation has not been strict enough lately? That wallpapers have been posted that don't deserve it? Or, are you saying we are too strict in our moderating? I'm serious, I don't know which you are saying... I have no way of knowing how many walls come in every day. I see anywhere from none to maybe as many as 5 or 6. There are other moderators here that also go through the queue doing the same j
digitaljames... here is your entire post: on Wall submissions.... !!vomit!! You say your point is valid? I saw no point at all... I couldn't figure out at all what you were trying to say. Moderation seems to be rubbing some people the wrong way. The reasons for it have been stated many times in threads on this message board. Plus, I don't believe anything I've sent back to an artist that was moderated could be described as "brutal". I try to respond to all t
sorry... that last post was way off-topic. The internet needs a revenue model that will provide the information and content sites with a way to afford their bandwidth and operating costs. I can't see this evolving in any way other than the users being asked to pay. The way this gets implemented will determine how successful it is. There has to be a percieved value greater than the expense of paricipating. I know about one plan that makes a great deal of sense but is not quit
Advertisers sometimes use an intentional aggravation factor to make you remember their product. About 11 years ago I met a guy that was the "brains" behind a Honda campaign that was so obnoxious it actually made me swear I would never buy any Honda product as long as I lived. He was so proud when I conveyed my disgust with his ads. I was being very polite about it and he was boasting that my reaction meant the strategy worked perfectly. He said we expect the ads to cause angry outbursts, argumen
The unfortunate part of internet advertising lessons being learned is that the advertising models developed on the net are going to become more pervasive in every day life. Soon you will see banner-like advertisements on everything around you. TV shows will place direct promotional statements right into the context of the story so you can't mute or change channels to escape them. Flashing and motion will be worked into previously static media like metro buses, billboards, etc. Already
digitaljames... have you been drinking?
yikes! that's a scary link! why do I have this sudden urge to buy more copies of the WC CD? Obviously there's a need for a reliable revenue model that all websites can benefit from. There is something on the (near) horizon that will address this with an elegant and practical solution.
Listen to Psxx!
I think the shirt looks great! I just ordered mine... Everyone needs to get one of these shirts so we can spot you on the street. Eventually we'll all meet each other in the real world that way (if I ever get out there again).
I've been told there was a leak from the team that's investigating the mysterious formations discovered off the coast of Cuba. The word from an *inside* source is: The initial reports based on the side-scan sonar readings are true. They have found an entire city at a depth of 2,200 feet about fifty miles off the coast of Cuba. The city has pyramids, roads(like highways) buildings and looks like a complete urban development. It is in a plain of rolling white sand dunes that str
That would be detrimental to the health of the spider.... maybe you could just drop the spider on the word altruistic or arachnid, they're not likely to get pulled out soon. That way he can have a web set up to catch bugs on their way back the B's....
zathrus! post a response in here and see if it really works...
So phere - you have downloaded enough megabytes of work from here that you reached the limit of annonymous downloads, and then by way of thanks, you insult us all with your vulgarity. I really don't understand what your problem is, as obviously you already have an account here. You make no sense...
Does it have arrows to help users install it correctly? I've noticed a lot of people get them on backwards.....
You can make explorer windows transparent using WindowBlinds. You get a choice of several different colors or fully transparent.
A *thought recorder* would be nice Has Sony made one of those yet?
When you do the mugs try to resist the urge to use "gold" metal in the design because then it will blow up my microwave
Norton System Works 2000 and Internet Security 2000 were incompatible with Windows2000. They offered no upgrade even for IS2k... you had to buy a full-retail copy of IS2001... That's when I found ZoneAlarm
Cool! This is a lot like the skinz browser thirty4i made except it loads the skin right from the site. Nifty
I usually look at all my old collection of MobiusCo wallpapers when I need inspiration or - as crae and ess-vid everywhere and anything. At the good times, when it's flowing, I get overwhelmed by inspiration everywhere I look. Dreams are good too.... think I'll go back to sleep
arrrggghh... screwed again. I just bought PM6.0 last week when I was rebuilding both my computers... I found it wouldn't run on my NTFS drive and had to go back to fdisk
ah yes... I remember a thread, cut down in the prime of it's life... one minute it's all the rage and then suddenly...
Anyone can change the rating level that gets used as a filter in their profile. So anyone can download it. I noticed your wallpaper has several peer ratings, which indicates it was not rated a 2 when it was submitted.
haha - omg how could you get forgotten ess? ess-vid - a truly legendary figure in the skinning world. there... (now I gotta try to remember all the others that aren't mentioned here)
