Welcome KdGergo. I hope you post again. Hearing from those outside the U.S. would very much help many of us here at JU as it provides some perspective for many of our more ethnocentric bloggers caught in the glass dome of our Mainstream Media (it's much worse then the BBC would have you realize). I will not attempt to provide you a full rundown of the way our economy works or even a rough outline - I simply haven't the time. I would, however like to address some of your

Gideon, the Democratic Party is not my party, I do not claim loyalty to it or support it, but I do support some people within that party, as much as I do some people within the Republican party. At this point it's like spitting in my face to call me Democrat or Republican so please desist. " ...those of us who LEFT IT ..." - Gideon MacLeish Where you a member of the Democratic party? " ...and you stand in the ruins wondering what happened... " - Gid

Only two occasions warrent deleting a post. The first is spam from spambots. The second is screens-worth of repetitive lines of off-topic declarations meant only to harass the maintainer of the blog and / or those commenting on it. Otherwise, allow 'problem' users to be dealt with by moderators. Those users will leave behind a record of reasons for their dismissal from the JU site.

George Soros, Michael Moore, and a variety of other leftist elements are already pulling the strings from behind the scenes, and have already won at least one victory by driving another moderate (Leiberman) from their party. - Gideon If I remember correctly it was the good voters of Connecticut who drove out Lieberman though if Soros and Moore live in Connecticut I guess you could say they did their part with their two votes. How about Hillary next?

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH complete replacement of any incumbent ... even if my shoe has to run - Independent American I second that. In going door-to-door for our local primaries I came upon a house that sported a sign that read, "Re-Elect No One". I agree. Let's toss them all out on their ear.

First, your comparison does not make sense since you give nos to NK when no one that I know of is denying them. Doc Guy Yes, I'm in a rush (as usual) and my dignity takes the lashing for my haste. I've corrected the N.Korea / Iraq yes and no checklist. Sorry for the confusion. Iraq was friendless in the region. NK has a big bad friend (who is now getting pissed) just across a border. If you remember (or not), we alre

I've seen so little word from chickenhawks lately regarding N.Korea. Maybe post-911 fever has finally worn away and maybe the stomach to make someone, anyone pay for innocent deaths had dissipated. Maybe even the Bush administration would take a less costly and more pragmatic approach to foreign policy noting the peons are sick of supporting a war they have seen lit

When you list places like prisonplanet and infowars as 'credible sources' it kinda smears the rest, dontcha think? - Lil' Whip I already answered to that in post #20, lines 4 through 9. Good try resurrecting the dead. It just goes to show that you're so gullible you'll read and believe anything. Sure, good try at tar - and - feathering in corroboration with Bakerstreet. Little Whip, I would think you'd be the last person to make any jokes regarding race, but I understand you're in a great deal of physical discomfort at the moment so I'll simply address the few points you had without the usual verbal bitch-slap. I've lost my ass too, laughing it off while reading some of the links you provide as proof of your claims. One of the articles I linked to (which I believe is the one you are referring to) happened to be posted on

Wait. No.. I need your business on this blog Bakerstreet. My JU points have increased by 253 since we first started 'debating' - please continue. Seriously, you're starting to embarress me man. Please. Stop. Have you been drinking? Tell me the truth. Or don't. ..and give me a link.

Seeing as how I've many times regarded the 'nuke' as a 'missile' you'll have to forgive my slip. Hey, how's old Rumsfield these days? And did you ever get around to answering my question about the news sources you frequent? No? Oh. Didn't want to inconvenience you. Shucks, that wasn't your ace in the hole was it? HEY GUY'S DEF FUCKED UP. HE SAID NUKE WHEN HE SAID MISSILE FIVE THOUSAND TI

You ask me to disprove something you can't prove; i.e. a "nuke" as you call it that hit Alaska - Bakerstreet Doc Guy corrected you. Then I corrected you and deferred to the report that it was a missile - not a nuke. This issue is finished until you come up with some fact, Bakerstreet. And you'll probably have to wait for the next Whitehouse spokesman to provide you with some official statement to lead you - b

Once again, Bakerstreet, you've failed to do any homework , and / or provide any evidence or relevant counterpoint. Don't rush your response(s). They just hurt your posit without legs (or ass). On a final note, I've extreme respect for you, but you backed the wrong horse and, of course, were ill-informed. And here's your ass. I found it near the porno sites on the Information Superhighway. *Ba

Yeah, that's why I was concerned that you kept characterizing it as a nuke... - Bakerstreet How so? But I'll concede the point if you wish as I don't want to quibble. Again... pfft. Their "neighbor" can hit them with 50 year old lawn darts. - Bakerstreet Agreed, yet one becomes alarmed when the neigbor next door has three-stage missiles and one is stuck with only lawn darts manning the DMZ line. Yep, and the fact that you'd admit that in publ

It is so sad to see people who are so blinded by their bias. - Bakerstreet I'm guessing that's why you stay away from mirrors. Good to have you aboard the S. S. Bad Ship Deference, it's been a while. You realize that no one was ever able to confirm that story of what you call a "nuke" in Alaska? As Doc pointed out, it was a missile - not a nuke that was reported. I've given a source - the Korea Times. Keep in mind that is the South Ko

FOX NEWS ALERT NORTH KOREA MAY FIRE TEST MISSILE WITHIN ONE MONTH CAPABLE OF REACHING THE U.S. Fuck Fox. Where were they in 2003? In fact, where the fock was any of the news media in the United States? North Korea has already fired a missile that landed in the United States. Well, I dont think the media is a conspiracy, but it sure is sloppy (but then we have lots of evidence of the latter) in not reporting the earlier missle. - Dr. Guy Sure, conspiracy is certainly a word I would like to stay very far away from but I am curious as to what JU derives from this. What do you make of it? How is this to be explained? I guess I'm most upset about this entire ordeal as it is a prime example of the way

Why is Deference trying to hijack this thread by turning it in to a discussion of Clinton politics? - LW Nice to see you again too! As you are aware, however, I was only responding to Bakerstreet and Rightwinger's posts.
