At the start of the game, before any of the races have ships with weapons, every race on the Diplomacy screen is listed as "Strongest" for military. I think this should be changed to read "none" if a race has no ships with weapons yet.

The Senate votes (once I change to Republic) are a mess. I see values like 5578932234 (should be a number between 0 and 100) as the result for each political party, and the "results bars" are all over the place (some are drawn in the opposite direction over the screen). The Senate is a big fat mess! I'm going to guess that this part of the game isn't fully implemented yet.
Yor starbases that are built on a Resource block the view of the resource below. Other AI races' starbases do not seem to do this.
If you click on an AI ship, and you have the "Ship Range" toggle enabled on the mini-map, you can see the radius circles around all the planets and starbases for that AI race, even through Fog Of War. None of this info should be displayed unless you click one of your own ships.
The Quarterly Report for "Most Powerful Races" always shows the weakest at the top, and the strongest at the bottom. The order needs to be reversed, or you could change the title to "Most Pathetic Races".
When I discovered Xeno Farming (and had Xeno Farms in my build list), the build list item for Basic Farming was not removed. This is not consistent with other improvement upgrades. Was Xeno Farm not linked to Basic Farming as an "improved version"?
I have noticed that sometimes when I mount an engine on a ship, that the engine is pointing backwards (the "exhaust" is facing forward, instead of toward the rear of the ship). This makes my ships look stupid, and on several occasions I have heard the pilots of the AI ships laughing at my "backward engine" fleets.
The nice description of Earth on the colony details (Earth is the one place human can truly call home -- or whatever it says) gets wiped out and replaced with the standard "Founded in 0, the Earth colony...." when you land your first colony ship on a new planet (when you make your first "new" colony). Also, the changed description of Earth does actually say it was founded in "0", instead of "2230" or whatever it is supposed to be.
NOTE: This bug may only happen if you save the game after discovering the new tech (while obsolete building is still in the queue) then quit the game and reload.
EDIT: In my current game, I invaded an AI homeworld and it was EMPTY, except for the Starting Colony and Starport. The AI was trying to build a Basic Factory, and it was stuck at 1 Week left, probably due to this bug. This is unacceptable, as the AI has no way to "manually" work around this bug. If you have a colony improvement in your build queue, lets say "Basic Lab" for example, and then you discover the tech for a superior version (let's say "Xeno Lab") before the old one reach
This seems to be a random occurrance, but the TURN button will vanish sometimes after I click it. It stays invisible for up to a full minute, then reappears and the next turn proceeds normally. NOTE: This is NOT due to auto-saves. I can tell when auto-saves happen, and it does not make the TURN button vanish.
The Ownership feature on the minimap shows ownership info for the whole galaxy, even thru the Fog Of War.
The Iconian start system has planet names like "New Iconia V", and not custom names like the other races' start systems have.
I was wondering about that also. Was the 200% a change, or a bug?
If the Quarterly Report text is too big for the text box, you cannot scroll down because the scroll bar control is disabled.
What are the little blue buttons next to Military/Social/Research output displays (on colony window) supposed to do? When I press one, it seems to make that area (Mil, Soc or Res) a little bit more productive, and the other ones a little bit less productive. Could someone clarify exactly what these are for?
I found the "Set as Homeworld" button on a colony details window. I didn't press it, but I was wondering: what kinds of benefits does the colony on your homeworld get?
I am able to close the planet list using the X button when this happens. It is super annoying. Also, the alien ambassadors should not be popping up until the start of turn sequence is completely finished (new tech advances shown, Quarterly Report closed, etc). Sometimes they popup right in the middle of these things, sometimes 2 ambassadors at a time.
I cannot connect Stardock Central. Also, the www.stardock.com site appears to be down. Is it just me, or is anyone else having this problem?
I can't connect to www.stardock.com Is their site down? On the same note, Stardock Central cannot connect either.
There's a decent chance, due to people who try to scam retailers online, that you won't get the game if your credit card company rejects the online purchase. What do you THINK is going to happen?!?
You can then put that key into StarDock Central and download the beta when it is made available. Like he said, you will need to download Stardock Central (from www.stardock.com) and input your CD Key OR TotalGaming.net key. SDC will take care of the rest (download and installation). You just have to click a button in SDC to choose Galactic Civi
Beta 4 is not out yet. When it is released, you'll be able to find the answer to your question by watching the bug reports come in on this forum.
U.S.S.R - Drengin U.S - Human Great Britian - Antarans Chinese - Torians How did you come up with these? I think it's rather insulting for you to compare Russia with "alien slave-drivers", and equally silly to equal USA with "the human race". <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 class="mb-Body-Quote-
This might be possible. Everything is tracked by the player ID so, we would just have to change the value of the human player. This would, effectively, give you everything you asked to be able to do in the other ones, in regards to messing with the AI's stuff. This might be the MOST useful now that I think about it. At any point, I could sav
