Oh yeah, MS has a web accessories page where it has different freebies, including a toolbar wallpaper app: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/previous/webaccess/default.asp Although it says this stuff is only for IE 5.x, some people say some of this stuff still works in IE 6.

The only "hotbar" I know is a program people download and add to their browser. http://www.hotbar.com/ I think it was rumored to perhaps contain something which tracks internet use (aka "spyware") but I don't really know. If that's what you're talking about, the way to get rid of it is to uninstall it. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered by SkinBrowser!"

Do you mean "rated" 10 out of 10 which you see by viewing the comments section to see the ratings? Or do you mean the top 10 downloads or the top 10 authors shown on the web page (which is determined by daily downloads, if I recall correctly)? Is there a listing of the top rated skins?

That's weird. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling windowblinds? You might also want to post in the Stardock WB support newsgroup. (There's a link on the Stardock site.) They also have a WB binary ng so you can post screenshots.

Works fine here with XP Homey (and W98SE). Based on some other comments here and elsewhere, you might check your PC for a spyware program called Common Name? That appears to interfere with WB and create a problem with those window controls. Can't hurt to check that out. Download SpyBot Search & Destroy (it's free and you can find it via Google) and run it. I'd be careful with deleting any system stuff with

You might want to get and download SpyBot Search and Destroy (freeware) and use that before you try to delete Common Name on your own (if you have it). Apparently the recent version of Common Name mucks with winsock settings and can screw up your internet connection. Check for more info and links here: http://www.spywareinfo.com/ <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmidd

Yeah, what Jam said. If you want to buy a couple apps (and the enhanced registered software is better than the shareware) that's already about $40. With a little more $ get an annual subscription to OD and all the programs and upgrades. Then you can use what you like when you like. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smile

You need the different programs for the different stuff. On their own they tend to be small and pretty good on resource use. It's better than one big program with a lot of stuff people may not use but they still have to run the whole big program just for one or two applications. (You, know like an MS operating system.) <img src="
