Mine seems to be running smoothly (knock-on-wood)..and I'm running on the same setting as you (GDI+Engine). Do you have any docklets that are running, that might be causing it?
Paint Shop Pro has a screen capture feature which gives you options of including the cursor or leaving it out.
thanks for the reply brazil...if I knew how to change the source website, I would try it.
I posted something similar in the Help discussion section. Is there a way to change the source of the weather information? As in a different website?
I've been using object dock for a while now, and have been using the weather docklet that came with it. Now, for the last couple of days, the weather docklet is unable to update...it just shows a big question mark. I've tried right clicking and updating it, and also re-entering my location (zip code). I've also tried deleting the icon, then going through the Configure Dock to place a new one on the dock...but no luck! I noticed the docklet uses www.weather.com to get the weather information.<b
It depends on what's making me feel sad...but usually, I either talk on the phone with my best friend, or go outdoors (walking, hiking, etc.) to get my mind off it, as best as possible. Friends make good medicine for the blues.
This sounds nice. Too bad I *just* purchased IconWorkshop!
Not sure if this is what you're looking for..this is from the Help Discussion board... https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp?BID=WCH&id=184487#184928
I have a spinach & artichoke lasagna recipe (uses alfredo sauce instead of tomato sauce) if you're interested...
by Skinner I.R. Brainiac Somehow we need a better way of associating answers with questions. SUGGESTION: Using the Quote feature would help...and you wouldn't need to worry about using the post # (need to add the name of the person being quoted). [Message Edited]
Wow...this was like one of those best-seller novels that you couldn't put down until you got to the end, and found out whodunnit! Glad there was a happy ending here. btw GM...love that first image (above).
George Costanza (Seinfeld)...with friends like that, who needs annoying and neurotic enemies!
This month in 1973...was just starting junior high school...keeping my eyes on the TV for returns of POWs, as well as some Watergate news. Mostly just enjoying being a teenager with my friends while growing up in paradise. oh...and celebrating my birthday too! btw...should anyone need a jog of their timeline memories, check this site out http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/1973 [Message E
Very nice!
I'm not sure...since I had just dragged/dropped the application's shortcut to the bar...so I imagine those were the small version (either 16 or 32?), and it's also possible whoever created the icons for the specific applications may not have done them in the best possible quality. Koasati, you have PSP8? The default icon leaves a lot to be desired.
okay...just noticed the sizing slider has a max of 192 pixels for the objects...so I'll just stick to the 192 size. most of the icons look blurry or pixelated when used on the dock...that's why I'm going through and creating some png versions.
btw...where does one use a 256x256 pixel icon?
Yes, that's what I was thinking of doing. I figured I just bought IconWorkshop...might as well use it for something.
Thanks ss, but I was asking what sizes of icons (.ico) are needed.
I made a generic PNG graphic for my ObjectDock, for a font viewer/manager. I'm thinking of converting it to an icon as well, then uploading it to the OD library here. What I'd like to know is...what sizes of icons should I be creating?
Norton SystemWorks...has anti-virus, cleansweep, utilities. Lavasoft Adaware...for spyware TweakUI (a recent find for me)...allows you make tweaks and changes to various XP "unchangeable" interface items, with an easy-to-use window.
