I have to say, I'm slightly concerned by all this. You're listening to your customers and pretty much releasing exactly what they ask for. That's just not normal in the video game world. And now I have to give you another £4, because you've released pretty much exactly what I wanted - more content.
Now Devs listen cl

I like the fact that there are strong monster/wilding armies out there. Helps make the game challanging. Although I wish they would attack cities more often. And as far as those shamans go they are easy to defeat with missile troops if you get to attack them. Cavalry works well against them to.
Hand-holding is required in game design, but too much and it gets a dark side. 4X is hardly a genre that is designed to be highly "accessible" in the total spectrum of gaming. Does this 4X game really need to prevent you from forgetting to set research? Reward or success are a result of your management and care. This game already has a steep learning curve, and demands you pay careful attention if you are going to learn the deeper
Since playing the LH my friend and I have noticed the Threat Level rating is more time than not inaccurate. For example I would have a Strong stack and I come across a Army of Syndicate Assassins and such and they stack would be rated Medium. But they would wipe out my Strong army with out much effort. When examining the individual units in such an army the Treat Levels also do really reflex the real power of the unit. I have also seen this happen in reverse as well.
I really don't understand the current idea in gaming that skill trees always have to have active abilities that are shiny and awesome and that they should get rid of passive "filler" options. Passive traits are a reward in themselves due to the way you outfit and play your heroes, they can be as powerful as - sometimes even more powerful than - active traits. If you removed all the "filler" options you get heroes glutted with active abilites

I didn't play FE, took some time away between Elemental :war of magic and FE:LH to let stardock try and get things together but sounds like influence might have been a fun aspect, if its anything like Gal Civ's. Generally sad to see things removed from a game to make it easier. While LH is a fun game and I've played it 300 hours worth already I find it somewhat limited and the AI mid to late game som
Well got the DLC map pack and first thing I noticed is there are still no huge or larger MAP's. ie there's no MAP in the DLC pack any larger then the large map that LE already had. Why is this? Limiting a game to really just 6 positions when with custom builds and mods there potentially so many more seems just well so ... limited. Also noticed even with just the recommended number of positions one can wind up
quoting post I find myself going back to CIV V because even though it's less interesting as a concept, the game at least works. It feels like a finished product. I bought CiV 5 last week during a Steam sale, played a few games, and I can honestly say that this iteration of Civ is bland, lifeless and "dumbed down" relative to Civ 4. IMHO, LH (and FE) blow Civ 5 away.
</p

I've had 1 or 2 CTDs and probably helped those by running mp3's while playing and/or alt tabbing incessantly. I haven't really noticed any bugs (and I'm a bit hypercritical about stuff like that as a coder myself). &nb
Okay so I finally had the chance to sit down and play a few hours of LH 1.1. I'm disappointed to say that once again it feels like another release that is not yet ready for prime time. I was not able to finish one game. The game is still buggy and almost unplayable. I cannot get the new map pack for LH to work. Steam says I have it but no new maps in the map load area.
Why not just take the single player game and just open it for Mp with out changing the SP game balance? I don't want the MP version of the game to be any different as far as balance from the SP. I don't want nerfing it does not need it. I personally would like to play with and against friends. The only change would be to add simitanous play. And I would be strongly against nerfing the beat lord in MP play. There are those of us TBS players that would like the
There are not enough good TBS multiplayer games out there. Name some because except for AOW:SM I have not seen any.
+1 for multiplayer as long as they keep the game mostly as is and not nerf it for "Balance reasons." Now the game is now playable with the LH expansion (was not very good before expansion) and it would be great to add MP to the mix. But you need to get it before AOW3 comes out because once AOW3 comes out I will probably rarely play FE:LH.
Mine is showing when going to properties in the DLC tab but when I go into the game no new maps show.
I bought the map pack on Steam not realizing that I actually get this free. So downloaded it in steam. Steam says I have it however I see no new maps. So I tried using the product key from Stardock for the map pack and it tells me that the map pack is not out yet. But it shows in steam. So I'm stuck. Now I assume that these new maps will be in the map load section right?

All it would need is a loop that goes through immediately after any city completes something to check if the city is idle, and then give the option to choose something to produce, one of the special Produce functions, or specifically choose Idle (if you don't have any thing to
