weird sound problem after update in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Hi after up dating if i started the game using the desktop shortcut or symbol on start menu i'd get music but no sound effects... i had to change the target from"C:\Program Files\Strategy First\Galactic Civilizations\gcmenu.exe".. To:"C:\Program Files\Strategy First\Galactic .. Civilizations\galciv.exe".. PS...when i used stardock central to download bonus pack and update is the bonus pack just integrated into regular game or do i have to access it seperat

hi i keep getting my butt kicked on beginner..lol same old thing..i race to build up my military but i'm always outgunned...... even setting other civs to chaotic good. they always demand bc's and when i don't anti up i get whupped any hints appreciated. Tom :HOT:

hi the first game i played i loaded by double clicking my transport..even though i was at war yesterday i didn't get the option to load.. was it because my civ was just to kind..? i had the white interface and all. Tom :(

hi a in game tech tree sort of like in age Of Mythology.. a option to lower the resolution to enable us poor folks with 15 inch monitors to read the text easier or larget text :)

:) hi 1)do ship improvements automatically apply to existing ships such as shields and deflectors after they are researched? 2)is there a list to tell what improvements each individual planet has such as shipyards?

(:hi i have a really dumb question that applies to galactic civ. the starting character is named something like alan bradley but i cant get rid of the letter Y.....same problem with setting money on the corporate machine. there's always a zero at the end.....can only put _this under the last letter or zero. so instead of tom.. i'm Tommy.. sort of bugs me..lol Tom Doan(
