What are your system specs from steam-help-system information Also ensure you're running the latest drivers for your video card, as that tends to fix a lot of the font issues. If you have a laptop with an Intel + AMD/Nvidia, update your INTEL DRIVERS and run the game with the Intel card. Using the laptop AMD/Nvidia card seems to not work well.

I think that we need to differentiate between 'micro' and 'busy work' I don't think people mind micro managmeent, as this is an important part of the strategy and maximizing your resources and efficiencies. Yeah this seems to be an issue Try doing this Press ~ In the console type "turnactions" This 'in theory' disables the stuff like "DO RESEARCH" and "IDLE COLONIES" so you can proceed. Note this disables ALL of them so you nee dto be more careful
