GTAV FALLS! Only the Witcher 3 remains. Don't worry Geralt, Adam will put you down quickly with his Witcher sword on the wall.
Did you ever imagine being here when you starting coding your little strategy game in college? [e digicons]:)[/e]
Well I might have been off on the whole "OS/2 is the next best thing since sliced bread", I can at least say I called "Wow this is the best damn game on OS/2!" :)
#3! CSGO falls before the might of GalCiv3! Eat my de_dust n00bs! Next up GTA5! They better be playing lots of that yoga mini-game. Drengin slave camps need highly flexible workers on their asteroid mining facilities.
#4! NONE CAN STOP THE ONSLAUGHT! Next up CS:GO. Your puny guns are no match for an interstellar invasion! Cower behind your boxes! WE ARE COMING FOR YOU!
The last three cheevos. Results Outweigh Ideals Means To An End We Care For The Least of Us No descriptions for them, though. Looking at the icons, it looks like Ideological achievements. Perhaps filling out each of the tables? Makes sense. Also wonder if they're bugged at the moment due to the lack of description and not showing up in the "Personal Achievements" section.<br
Wait is the Founder Elite supposed to back? I thought that was gone? Edit: Oookah.... now it's gone? Did I just hallucinate that? .... I swear I saw it? Edit: now the double entries on the Steam top 10 are gone. ... Ok I'm REALLY tripping out now. No one is going to believe me :P
You've already cracked the Steam Top 10 as well! Congrats. It can't be said enough but it's been a great ride. Don't regret a single penny spent on my Elite Founder package. I have no doubt it will reap even more dividends for years to come. Thanks from one super crazy fan to a super awesome team.
A mere 30 minutes after launch and GalCiv3 has cracked #10 on the Steam top 10. There's a lot of tough competition on the Top 10 right now and a Capcom sale going on. Let set that sucker climb up to #1! :) A well deserved start to a successful launch for an awesome game!
The gave Early Access players a 1 hour window before hand where they updated the code before officially putting it on sale on Steam Not sure if it was intentional, but it was a nice gift to see during lunch :) But the game is now 'officially' out on Steam. The store page is updated with the new release date and such. So go forth an play the campaign.
I did ask about this in the stream, especially since I somewhat view Steam Reviews being on par with User Metacritic However there are visibility metrics that rely heavily on Steam Reviews. Aka being featured on the main rotation or other visibilty things on Steam. So I can understand that ensuring people put in reviews is an important thing.
Wouldnt a spreadsheet modding tool basically be... Excel??? :)
I'm seeing about 9GB-ish on disk It might be a smaller download as Steam does compress game data
I hope Brad's 2nd round vs the Altarians goes better than yesterday :)
STEAM IS UPDATING I have confirmed 1.0 is deploying Restart steam if you don't see it. (and of course I have a god damn meeting to go to.....)
!!!!!AN UPDATE IS QUEUEING!!!!!! UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!
Well guess it's back to mashing F5 on Steamdb for when the depot is updated. .... AN UPDATE!!!! Oh its just achievements.... boooooo REFRESH FASTER DAMN YOU!
But the game is not 100% ready. I would remind you that highly respected studios try to work out at least 95% of the bugs BEFORE release. I could name a few titles which released 100% playable and enjoyable (Starcraft II for example). Play with the best or die like the rest no argue here!
Firstly lets ignore things like: AC:Unity's fiasco from hell GTAV launch issues with Rockstar social and non ASCII
That looks uttery terrifying..... If I saw that in MP I'd just say "Well should we just call it?.... gg"
Bit odd there's no official news of this here. But hunker down because GalCiv3 officially releases May 14th (at least according to their twitter account!) https://twitter.com/Stardock/status/590919011233353729 Considering this is normally the 'summer doldrums' in terms of game releases, there's just a ton of kick ass stuff being released within the next month. It's super exciting,
I do dearly miss OS/2 And BeOS.... And NEXT.... Man I really really really was striking out there on the OS market...
Here's an update that allows you guys to see what marketing is talking about: April: Age of Wonders expansion is coming out (would like to NOT have Sorcerer King come out at the same time) May: Galactic Civilizations III final release June: Servo early access begins, Steam summer sale July: Ashes of the Si
Super Secret Beta 4 Release Notes! Our previous announcements of corporate 'partnerships' in GalCiv3 were met with overwhelmingly positive support (or so we are told via emails being read aloud from our indentured servants) So we're excited to announce a ton more exciting features for GalCiv3 in Beta 4! No more Combat Viewer! It's
Here's the thing The OS knows what it's doing. We are no longer in the days of "WHAT you want MORE MEMORY! Go line up for a few lashes!" The application goes "I would like RAM" and the OS looks at what's available. Assuming you have a semi-decent system not made out from Kinder Suprises, Cracker Jack stickers, and mail in popsicle sticks, you're gonig to have gobs of memory available. The OS will say "well here have all you want!" If the application had to keep begging
