Ah, I can see it now. The Devs stomp the challengers into the ground due to the challengers endlessly spamming questions and comments about 'This part is broken, when are you guys gonna fix it?' 'You guys are only beating us right now because you know all the exploits in your code.' If the challengers have any hope of victory they must put those questions aside for the time being.

You can't run mods unless all players have the switch to allow it - hence a desync. You should always bring up Impulse first thing before you play the game because then you will know if there is an update available.

My point is this: Back before the Internet (as it is used today), we picked up games based on what we heard our friends say about them or based on what they said on the back of the box. We took it home and played it as is. We were blissfully unaware of any 'bugs' and just played the game because we wanted to have some fun. There were no epeens to stroke, no stats to worry about. If we DID recognize a bug we found a way to play around it (if we really enjoyed the game). <p

Based on those specs I'd say you need to upgrade your computer with more RAM and a better video card. Something with 512MB of onboard video ram would be a lot better. Best you can do I think is set all the video settings to the lowest they can go right now.

I hope they fix the stats soon because PC Gamer was in the process of doing an article on my incredible gaming skills and because the stats are off they are delayed publishing that article. Also, I had planned to use my stats to show my boss that I'm really good with computers, especially video games, so that he could approve the promotion they were going to put me through for. Finally, these messed up stats are really putting a damper on my conversations with strangers I meet
