Actually I've been raped by Rook, Regulus, Sedna teams before, atleast on cataract. If they stay together the do massiv AoE. Mines, Hammer, Towers, and Sedna Healing Wind helps them alot. Don't underestimate this. You cant stop this with 1 or 2 dgs.
You can't hold off 3 demigods with just 1 or 2 demigods? What????? :P Obviously, you *shouldn't* be able to hold off 3 demigods with anything less than 3 demigods. I will raise yo

Here's a list of situations where Regulus shouldn't be used: 1. If your teammates are QoT and Fire TB. (No interrupt) 2. If your team is entirely assassin. (No monks) 3. If your team has bloody horrible synergy with Reg, as in, your teammates are Rook and Sedna. (Regulus pursues, but Rook and Sedna hold the line.) Why the hell people choose AF regulus when there is a SNIPE reg on the other team is beyond me. I've seen people with 300+ games do th
Why do people play him so much? He's not that great. I've seen people choose him even though it's bloody obvious that the matchup is terrible, and his synergy is horrible with certain combinations. Anyone else agree?
Bahaha, very funny jongalt. :P I just played a game with another player that told me that same level priests from different generals stack. I didn't think that Bishops stacked with each other. Anyone know about this?
I'd prefer a nerf to BotF instead of creating new favor items. Let's just boost the old ones.
That's cheaper than with the coupon. WTF.
Bahahaha! I love it. I think there would have been fewer complaints if it wasn't a $40 game.
This actually ought to help you get more games going. :P It hasn't been happening to me. Sorry to hear that.
Only n00bs play with Belier and Apika. They exploit. We should create a complaint forum or something. :P
Do we know if Nature's Reckoning will cause post-mortem to be AOE as well? I've tried to test this, but it's too hard against the A.I. That would be friggin nuts if it did.
This is why I LOVE counter-healing and Healing Wind II as Sedna. It wipes out the opposing team's monk advantage. I'm seriously surprised that Sedna is one of the least played Demigods. Great guide, ZehDon.
It's really not good sign for the future of our community when there are a lot of people writing these threads. He has valid concerns, and I see no reason why he should shut up for stating them. Consumers drive sales, and so I think it's good for Stardock to hear what a substantial amount of consumers are saying. If no one said anything, all we'd get is more crappy games. Consumers need to be picky, because that spurs high quality.
I more or less agree with the OP, but I still play DG because I've become acclimated to it. His concerns are valid, and he listed them politely. I'd give it a 9/10.
You know the replay bug that shows the abilities of the previous Demigod you've observed? It's easy to avoid! You simply have to make sure that the next Demigod you observe is someone from the opposite team. You won't get the bug that way. :)
or when as a full minion build i can push a ub and reg out of the forti lane solo......
The UB is doing something wrong if this happens. Probably, he didn't have an Orb of Defiance.
I call it the HP flag, because it's shorter, and that's what it is.
This post does explain what is happening/what will happen: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/367601. The smartest conclusion for many that simply want to play the game is to get a new account. You can't play a game with your friends if you are good generaly speaking. Even pugging, where does the highest ranked guy go to balance things out. You can mitigate all of this rubbish with a new account, at least for a time.
That's why you do hit-n-run early game, which is Beast's M.O. with spit, anyways. :P
Deep Freeze can make cooldowns of over 100s on favor items, which is obviously a bug.
Nah, it does what it's supposed to. Ice TB needs this. If you don't want it, don't cast anything for 7 seconds while you're under Deep Freeze, or go back to spawn.
BotF is perhaps the lamest favor item for a hybrid UB. You can't spam spit or foul grasp. Early game, BotF beast will control a lane, but by level 10, he can't hold a candle to BotS beast. I've seen it time and time again. I can take my mana pool from full to empty to full very quickly using only a favor item slot! If BotF beast wants mana, he'll have to use a slot, and he won't be able to spam like I can. Seriously, katana, accusing everyone that has a different strategy as being cra
That's excellent news. I wub u, Sorian!
Oh, and also, if my opponent decides to stand and fight, I'll do 830 (unmitigated) DPS at level 15 with BW, Putrid Flow, and Ooze. With 50% armor mitigation, my actual DPS drops to 660.
I think we should move our discussion of BW out of playground's thread, guys. Let's talk about it here. The old school thought that Bestial Wrath was a complete waste. Some of us aren't quite sure anymore. Since Zechnophobe brought up the idea of adding BW to hybrid UBs, I've been testing it. It works very decently. I sort of miss the movement speed bonus of Inner Beast, but I think that it's worth the trade off. I think that Bestial Wrath 5 is a worthy alternative to Acclimat
Hm, I didn't realize that Ooze UB was playable, but I'll take your word for it, since you've obviously made it work. I would imagine that this build would be devastating with a Sedna on your team that has High Priests and HW II.The healing would be insane. I *loved* in the replay how you capped flags incredibly fast. I hadn't thought of that one before. Also, I'm not sure what all of those hybrid UB builds you have beaten were, but I am pretty sure that Kira's build is not optimal for
