If you had a DG with a huge amount of strength and speed, it would be seriously unbalanced.
I'm not sure what's huge about his stats. He has a low attack speed, low armor, and good HP. He is huge, making him the obvious target in battles. Hammer Slam and his shoulder upgrades are great abilities, but they are all counterable. I agree, Rook has great abilities, but he's not overpowered, and he doesn't need a 10% speed reduction.</
OMG_Epiphenomenon
Like a said, I know he "looks" heavy, but I don't think that there is anything about his abilities or stats that warrant a 5.4 movement speed. The laws of our universe don't have to apply exactly to videogames, you know.
This has been something I've been thinking about. Why is Rook's speed 5.4? Sure, he "looks" slow, but there isn't anything about his abilities in my mind that warrants a 5.4 movement speed. He should have the same speed as a normal demigod. Thoughts?
Nudity is WAY better than violence. Wait, what was the question? :P
In the Lua, there is a very obvious coded part that makes a level 3 or 4 shield immune to debuffs. And testing has shown this includes stuns, which is what an interrupt is (a 0 duration stun).
Is there a point to shield level 5, then?
Ooze still works when you activate it.
Seriously no God Strength? fail build ^^
God Strength isn't that vital for a Rook build. It's nice, sure, but Janook's build is hardly fail. I'd probably add God Strength at level 16, but few games hardly get there. A little more analysis to your post would be nice instead of saying "lol fail."
If you buy priests and the other team has experience upgrades, you'll get outleveled very quickly. I still only buy priests when I can get cats. If my team is getting pushed around, I'll consider priests. They are the exception and not the rule, however.
This made my day. P.S. People play fortress mode?
Can we get a reply?
I think he might have been referring to the artifact cloak.
Quickest, most universal counter is armor. IE: Armor of Vengenance.
Yup! People obsess with health stacking when there are times they should be using armor. :)
Yeah, all of the idiots left to play another game. :P Also, consider getting Ooze as UB. It does AoE damage and reduces the attack speed of all enemy units. Beast is arguably the strongest demigod in the game, but he can still be countered. Try using Blade of the Serpent or Blood of the Fallen on UB, as those are the two best favor items for him.
He's joking. It's some sort of Aussie humor.
5 seconds of "free" ooze at the cost of being able to do nothing else. NOTHING else. No incredibly power auto attack, or spit, or grasp, or diseased claws, or running away.
Like I said, I only really use it against minion builds. It's only when I need all-out AoE. It works well.
I only really use it against minion builds. The free Ooze works well.
It's a decent item to get once all of your item slots are full, because the Orb doesn't take up a normal item slot. Compare Narmoth's Ring to the Orb: Narmoth's Ring: (750 - 400 HP) = 350 Net HP (assuming it replaces banded armor.) 20 HPS 8% Lifesteal -4000 Gold Orb of Defiance: 500 HP 500 Armor -3750 Gold -Totem of Revelation slot 5 seconds of free
Ooze is a counter to minions, but high level minions also counter UB. If you have alot of high level minions and good auto-attack, you can put a hurt on UB. Let's say for Oak... all minions, spirits, pestilence and SoF. If you catch UB unguarded, he'll drop 2000 life in seconds.
A proper UB will be using an Orb of Defiance, which is 5 free seconds of Ooze. Stack armor, get the Orb, get nature's reckoning, get post mortem, and you won't have any problems with minions. I
So, now that Stacked's gone, does anyone know how hard it would be to create a new one if we have to?
1) Don't get Tower 4 at rank level 10. By this point, your towers are really losing their effectiveness in combat. Instead get Archer tower at level 8, and tower of light at level 11
I thought about this, but Tower 4 halves the mana cost of your towers. That alone is probably worth it. It really is hard to keep 8 towers up, though. I will have to say that BotF or the teleport amulet is never a bad choice for Rook.
I am a premade of one, a premade of FUN. That's pretty funny guiderian. :P
Oak's Shield? Honestly, there really isn't a good way to counter it. It's one of the best abilities in the game.
I'm as giddy as a goose! :D I want to try stacking a team with the Demon Assassin and see how that goes. We should have a Demon Assassin vs. Oculus match for fun. :D
This build is really good; I just tried it. Having a 2.1k nuke AND 8 towers at level 10 is incredible. I think it just replaced my own Rook build. Great post!
him. he left loooooooooooooooooooooooooong ago. he saw how much of a waste of time this game was.
Stacked, you used to be a pretty cool guy. We know the limitations of our game, so let us play in peace and go somewhere else if you don't like it.
