Full fire TB is fully viable. It's definitely competitive with the right mix.
stack speed+slow yourself, melee triggers it more than ranged.
In an even microing match, long range Reg seems to win. At least, that's what it's always come down to for me. Mines and maim are a guarunteed slow. Once UB starts stacking speed, he becomes more squishy. I've faced it many times, and it's an uphill battle with UB. I usually let the minion builds take care of him. Spit is ok, but your opponent is doing crits from long range with slows
I've actually had problems against long range slow stacking AF builds with my UB hybrid. I think it's one of the few valid counters to hybrid UB.
A few times, you ran behind capped flags. That's asking for a gank. The sharp corners on Exile means that enemies can pop out of nowhere. Your Rook had an inadequate amount of towers considering how far forward he was. You waited 30 seconds to buy Unbreakable Boots, but during that time your team needed you to keep the left side. Your build was ok, just be more careful.
I love this idea. Give us favor idols!
It has started happening again.
F'ing brilliant idea, pacov! I'd love to see this catch on permanently. +1

If everyone chooses this favor item, no one would ever die. It's hard enough to kill an enemy Demigod in the endgame.
You have to screw the other team and farm the a.i, because they would do the exact same thing if circumstances were reversed. :p
Oh, certainly, if they leave you alone, a Rook can easily take down a tower. I was assuming that both teams have equal skill, but one player made a mistake and died early. In this scenario, it isn't likely that a tower would fall early game. However, if all 3 Demigods are in the lane, the tower is toast.
You could add in a category for learning curve. That's an important difference between the two. I've tried HoN. I like its features, but I like Demigod's gameplay far better.
I'm looking for a partner. I have a 64% win ratio in PuGs with 150+ games under my belt. My primary Demigod is Unclean Beast, but I can play Sedna and Rook as well.
I tried this once with 3 Regs. It was epic.
Pointing out your stupid $*%@ is hardly trolling. See, trolling would be saying something like, "Ryan makes so little sense that I bet he goes to a community college." :P
You've obviously never played as the rook.
Bah, I've played Rook a ton. I stand by what I say. Rook can't take down a tower at level 1-4.
i invited him to fight. if he wants to 3v3 me with him showing me how imba QOT is then PLEASE do. i'm ready any time. (by any time i mean after 9pm pacific, when i dont work. as long as i dont have too much stuff to do for college, and as long as nothign good is on TV)
Saying that you're better than someone at a certain Demigod and then offering to fight against them without using that Demigod doesn't make any sense. :/
I don't envy HoN's gameplay, but I sure do envy its features.
What do you think of Poison Dagger, Swift Anklet, or Staff of Renewal on reg, RAWRRR? I wasn't under the impression that you can't outdamage health and armor stacking, but I wouldn't know since I haven't played Reg. How do you handle this? Do you ever get Wyrmskin? What's your target HP by level 10? Do you ever engage Demigods without a tank nearby?
Putrid flow is pretty sweet.
Honestly, if a n00b joined a non-n00b game, he would get kicked. No one would play with him, because that's how the DotA community is. I mean, ffs, I joined a *n00b* game, and I got kicked because I was a n00b. Wtf?
Having said that, I tried HoN once. It seriously is hardcore. You get to kill your own creeps to deny xp and build items using recipies. It's crazy. I still like Demigod better, though. I do think that their community is childish (even to ours, I know).
Everyone gets utterly smashed in their first game of Demigod against non-n00bs. Hardly a fair test.
Ryan, stop backpedaling. If you talk trash then you've got to back it up. FIGHT.
