It would be very easy for mana draining creeps to break the game. Mana regen creeps are a better and safer idea. They should replace the near-useless angels. Perhaps they could regenerate 10% of your mana base every 10 seconds?
OMG_Epiphenomenon
Good news.
I've played against my friends/premade to balance things. It gives you street cred once you beat them and shows that you can win no matter which team you're on. :P Too many puggers are f'ing paranoid. I join random games, and sometimes I am the 3rd person on the forces of light. The fourth person to join will ask if we are premade, as if having 3 people on the forces of light somehow makes your team premade. In my mind, the division is not between "premade" and
What really matters is competency and communication. If I can get that on my team, I won't mind going against a premade. I think that using voice chat gives a premade an advantage that puggers can't easily compensate for. Other than that, I don't see any problems with it. I've lost with my premade against puggers and won as a pugger against premades. It's all about teamwork.
Yeah I think CosMoe would win. He practically invented QoT builds. :P I want to see you put your money where your mouth is, Ryan.
if the other team is using heavens wrath you've won. thats such a bad favor item, which is used mostly on reg to..make a higher lvl reg? oh noes! reg is just a feeder in high lvl games. further more if one person is using heavens warth, its robbing the other team of xp. making them under lvled and easier to kill. + they have some nub using HW.
There are Pro Regs that use HW. I've played with them. That's why you use HW to farm lanes when no one is there. It still doesn'
get priests if you only have one general. priests heal you for quite a bit and they add a fair amount of damage for creeps, yes they offer a little more xp but if you have priests its like having 500-700 extra health. you can also stay out longer with priests, meaning YOU"ll get more xp.
Twenty six percent more experience is a lot more experience, not a little more experience. The appropriate counter is to buy the XP 2 upgrade at the citadel. Your opponents will outleve
hybrid rook: viability -> excellent fun factor -> 0/10 enemy stays away from you the entire game, its like you vs the enemy base
The teleport amulet makes it fun. :P Tele-ganking Rook FTW.
First of all, 7 mana per second is huge, it allows you to get only one extra mana item such as 1500 and 1750 helm. And later, you can use combo . activate essence of magic + build 1 tower + boulder roll enemy + Hammer slam. It can save you
UB isn't gamebreaking. Plenty of counters have been listed. I'd even consider Regulus a counter to UB. A slow stacking Reg with MotB will wreck him. The only possible change I would make is remove his ability to use BotS. Deep Freeze now works properly, so TB can thwart him too.
Sarmis is right on the money. Gold is too valuable early game to be spent on needless locks.
2k gold to the enemy team. no.
Demigod isn't Monopoly. Provided that you have killed the towers between the enemy spawn and citadel, it can definitely be worth it. The gold isn't the issue. The issue is whether the other team can rush your portals before you respawn. If they can, don't do it. If they can't, do it. Two thousand gold hardly makes that much of a difference at War Rank 10 when giants are on the map.
Your opponent gets 600g.
That's worth structural transfer 1. Nothing to write home about.
You lose 1-2 levels through loss of creep experience.
You lose 462 XP if you miss 2 creep waves. You would have to be out of the game an entire minute to lose this much XP. At level 7 it takes 875 XP to level up. That's just over half a level. It's not that bad as long as your teammates farm the XP.
Your op
We get signal. How are you gentleman. !!
I don't understand why people play anything besides custom games.
I want to add sho33 to the list. He drops games just before they end if he's losing.
Acclimation lasts for 5 seconds, if I remember correctly. It will proc on each hit that does 600+ damage.
If the problem is only in single player, here's what to do. Go to your Demigod folder > Open game.prefs with notepad > Find a line that is called "points" > Give yourself a million points.
Sorry for the double post. With the latest fix for Ice TB, one of the best counters to spit and a ton of other abilities is Deep Freeze. UB gets one spit, and then he's done for a very long time.
Then logically you probably wouldn't object if it were toned down a bit?
Nope, I wouldn't. I generally get stats after level 10 anyways, unless I need to chase people down. If I get a hint that the game might last past level 14, I'll start climbing inner beast. The few times I've gotten it, though, it hasn't made a difference. In my experience, it doesn't make a difference. This means it isn't overpowered. There are many ot
Spit is so easily countered though. Oak's Shield Erebus's Mist Sedna's heal Queen's shield Sure no one uses them but Symbol of Purity and Restorative Scroll.
You forgot about priest idols. They are really one of the best counters. Oak's shield doesn't really count because it has a 35 second cooldown. Most games are decided before level 15 hits, so acclimation isn't really that much of a proble
Is it only a problem with single player, or multiplayer?
Bah, I was only going to put down Poison Dagger and BotS, but then I remembered Staff of Renewal. :P
RapierX, Good to see you back here. I had heard about it a long time ago, but I'd forgotten about it. Digging through the LUA files made me remember it. I thought I'd share it with everyone. (P.S, since replays are out, is there any chance that we could see TAG in action?)
The other two good favor items on that menu are Poison Dagger, Blade of the Serpent, and Staff of Renewal.
I was digging through the LUA files the other day, and I noticed something about the data for priests. When you are healed by priest idols, there is a debuff that is applied that prevents you from being healed by that type of priest for 7.95 seconds. This means that only one of the two priests can heal a single target every 7.95 seconds. However, priests can heal every 5 seconds, as long as there is a target without a debuff. The interesting thing about the debuff is that it i
