All life is precious to the SK, I suppose. He's just redistributing energy, that's all.

A life transforming experience, eh? Sounds like a motivational speaker. :P

Destroy him, my robots! (Stay awhile, stay forever! Muhahahahaha!)
Agreed.
I think he's taking just as much inspiration from Star Control with SK and that's anything BUT souless.
Zeep eep!

Not a huge fan of reducing the doomsday counter too, too much. I hope that it is extremely expensive, at best.
Champion Algore casts anthropogenic global warming spell: all sea levels rise 50 meters to gain 10,000 gold. It would have a multi-turn cast requirement and fortunately can be disrupted. [e digicons]:digichet:[/e]
Heh heh. [e digicons]:D[/e]
I'd like to see initiative penalties for heavier armour. Encumbrance is hit or miss for me.
I'll try that. :) EDIT: Weird. It gave me the option to use the Shadow Key this time. I just went in and laid a butt whopping on the SK. Didn't even lose a single character. :P So, thanks, eh?
Perhaps the Lootenant could leave a treasure chest with the key in it. That or a minion absconds with it and you have to go on a very dangerous quest to hunt him down. After all, if the Lootenant died that easily, the player should have to face a challenge. :)
I had that happen to me too. Vetrar got stuck on a shard and I couldn't attack him. Eventually my outpost killed him and the game was ruined as I only had one key. :(
That sounds pretty cool. ^^
In my game on mountain pass, I defeated both Lootenants in the same turn. [e digicons][/e] I got the keys but when I went to the SK's lair, it won't let me in. It says I need keys. :(
The problem comes from the fact that the world had just survived a cataclysm. FE and LH... then it was in a war for many many years until the SK finally won out. The land is COMPLETELY war torn, I would not expect to see much life in the land... and I would like to see as the doom counter increases what life is around is slowly sucked away.
Good points. However, the SK has been ruling for some time and
My thoughts and opinions on the subject: I disagree that the land should all look dreary and desolate. Certainly some of it should look destroyed. However, the SK stopped short of conquering everyone so the player and the minor factions (the kingdom factions, anyway) should have land that is vivid and alive. There should be ruined structures strewn about the land and nature reclaiming what was once civilized lands but not utter desolation. Since the SK is going to be sucking o
64 bit with improved graphics sounds good to me. :)
You could also just rename your trained units. Then you'd know who got what. However, I must confess that I haven't tried to do that yet. :P I do agree that stacking multiple items in a single slot would be good. They already do that for scrolls and potions.
I don't feel it is a huge issue but if they had one I wouldn't complain.
1. Disagree here. The graphics are very nice. The only thing I have somewhat of an issue with is the outposts. They look Warcraft: Orcs versus Humans like and they contrast greatly with the buildings of the minor factions like New Pariden, Imperial Remnant, etc. Perhaps the player cities could be made to look more like the New Pariden, Imperial Remnant style, as well. 2. The music is very good but I agree that some more variety would be nice. I do wish they'd
Being able remove enchantments cast on units would be nice.
I just get my champion, usually Tandis or Varda to cast Blizzard or Fireball or use scrolls. It is mana or resource intensive, though. Trog Archers are super dangerous. Lol. One thing I didn't like is when you have a huge army and you run into Trog Archers and it goes into auto combat and I end up losing a unit. *Grrr*
