(Looking past the fact that stationary Artillery and strategic bombers are OP.) The current unit meta is arguably focused around "tanks" - Athena and Mauler. Even if the Athena is nerfed. I think the units are still quite too similar to one another. So Im suggesting a broad balance change on all units to allow a greater focus on diverse usage of units, as opposed to blobs of units that nobody really uses the advantage of one over the other. Hey bro, i totally agree on the pathing, army response, attacking etc But just one thing, do u know that more SS units use energy than PHC? So SS units will run out of energy and not fire, fart around, making them seem like they are morons, meanwhile they dont have energy.. Add capicitors to ur army if this is the issue. Otherwise i do experience similar issues. The game really seems to favour blob on blob combat, and generally favours economy (ie better unit production rates)

So as a lot of people have mentioned, defensive structures seem very strong, and many think they need a nerf. But I think a portion of this issue comes down to the map layouts. Im not sure why stardock went with this current method. Maybe they are trying to mimic Starcraft??(which specifically has air transports, units that can quickly move around the cliffs or has areas that can be destroyed to open up new lanes of attack, besides the fact that SC defenses are incredibly weak) But wh

im not sure how it works but what about packet interception? or as u said trainers.. they could still be in effect if the largest game companies have cheaters, then we can be sure the smaller game companies will also have cheaters. the security on the larger games is much better yet even their measures are passed...

There always will be cheaters in every type of game. I'm 100% sure there are people in ashes who either are cheating or at least trying to. I'm sure "that guy" wasn't the last of them... But yeah that being said we should be careful of what we think is cheating and what could be either a bug or misunderstanding of the game..

I dont understand the point of this map... Who ever captures and holds the middle for even a moderate amount of time should technically win in a balanced match. Who ever captures and holds the middle gets these benefits: A. they unlock the rest of the map for only themselves, so B. they only have to defend a moderate choke point so C. they have the upper hand in res just from the middle (nevermind the edges) D. its pointless for the 2nd player to even c

u get an orbital power that blocks orbitals for a limited time, the enemy could have cast that (not used their planes bro) of all the methods of cheating, i highly doubt someone would cheat by making an ornital not kill factories... either u were mistaken or a bug

Since we have no replay option, im assuming there's no way to prove if someone was a hacker? Like i can take a screen shot of the 5 reapers that physically would not die, but one would never know from the screen shot that the reapers were recharging shields miraculously.. Or i could post a screen shot showing that the enemy had an equal military spending, but was somehow able to capture 3 tirinium nodes, and half the map, whereas i was physically only able to capture 4 nodes (so n

I think a number of players have made threads things that they hope/think should be added to the game, hopefully someone will either correlate those ideas here, or those guys will actually see this thread. But off the top of my head some things i would like are: - Change to the score / namelist (as stated above) reduce its size as well as making it removable (its really takes up a lot of the screen just for an army strength indicator) - Remove/select individual/specific types

yeah im also not so keen on playing with the arty the way the game is flowing at the moment. destructors and artemis cant kill a base fast enough if its really entrenched (multiple repair/shield buildings) and in the mean time the arty just keeps firing and killing the army.. so we end up with 2 entrenched players just slowly fighting one another so i would also like an option to turn off the arty
