What about a 'Regicide' victory? Like every player has a special ship (not particulary fast or manueverable but perhaps dodges phase inhibitors with research) where if you lose it, your out. It might be a good idea to make this ship a powerhouse of DPS or special abilities so as to reward those who bring it into battle. We could even do it with the Titans...

^ Very objective and concise. I agree with the above fully. The Devs have asked for feedback and so I will second some of the above things here. Pirates much better than before but threat level seems to jump up to early. This is the only other thing I would like to see fixed with them in this patch. Yea I saw the Destra and Defence vessel typo as well. makes for expensive Advent fleets. Would be great to see Cummunial Labour change and Egg coloni

Yikes mate... its a game, not complete reality where everything is utterly perfect under the laws of physics and anthropoligical/extraterrestrial behavioral science! Enjoy the flashing lights and explosions...

In the saved game you loaded you were no longer an ally of the last player and so the victory condition did not kick in. You need to have an alliance with him for it to work. If you had loaded to an autosave or other saved game just before the 3rd player was wiped out and you were still in alliance with the last AI, it would have ended. And yea, envoy bonus is capped. But I doubt the last AI would have allied with you any way cos its was just 1v1 at that point and the AI
All factions in a game should be equally viable in all stages of a game (early, mid, and late). It is lunacy to make a game where one faction must win by a certain stage because the other factions will beat them at a later (or earlier) stage.
Perhaps, but thats where its at. Many RTS games you will play show signs of this. And that is because we don't want three races who are basically the same. This particular symptom (races doing better i

Well it would depend on the planet. Some worlds will need a little extra terraforming and some would need habitation domes so your guys can survive there. Without those things in place, you are going to need to provide air, heating, cooling and other necessities that a colony can't provide for itself during the initial colonization phase. That all costs money. Also, there would be all the transport costs of your building materials and equipment and other supplies (ie agric

Is the culture mechanics hard coded or are we able to make a mod that sees culture actually become useful? It would be great to add culture threat into the game and even make the DE more than a panic button.

"Sir! The Advent fleet is moving into standard combat formation!" "Load the ordinance Corporal. We're gunna need every shot" TEC fleet prepares to open fire on Advent Battleball "Uhh Sir... there is something weird going on..." The space around the two opposing fleets ripples horribly, as if some new weapon is tearing it apart "Sir!! It looks like something is phasing in.... within the grav well!" <span style="font-si

^ I like these, however, I had my own brainstorm bout victory conditions and the problem with those above is that Vasari will have a major advantage. Protect the homeword? Oh wait... kostura blast... and yep here comes his entire fleet... game over. Similar for the others as well. I've though bout plenty of these and all have the same problem. Vasari mobility gives them a major advantage. I like the idea DesConner has talked about which is a Artifact victory.

I know this thread was already disappearing down the list but this ship really needs some help from the devs. Just a few days ago I saw my 5 Dominas (woaaah thats a lot of Dominas for me, normally ZERO is about right) all target a single Halycon for repair and the hull hadn't even been damaged. [e digicons]-_-[/e] I mean WTF. Currently the Domina's targeting is like handing a blind twelve-year-old a machine gun, spinning him around several times and then

lol I just realised... "Kosturas were conterabable in most easiest way. All u need to do is scuttle planet...' So... basically using this strategy every time makes the Kostura EXACTLY like a Novalith in the fact that both force you to LOSE THE PLANET except the Kostura also stuns every ship and structure in the grav well. And a starbase would not 'protect' you from this kostura countering strategy because you can scuttle a world with a starbase p
