But if another party is in control other than yours don't you think it odd that your empire suffers negatives from the party in control. I know it's meant to punish the player, but if the war party takes control then why should their be a negative hit point bonus. It just seems odd to me. Isn't it enough punishment that your old bonuses are now negatives. I don't think the other party's bonus' should be applied as negatives, they just should exist. ~SDC~

Can anyone tell me how you find out how much income has been increased for a particular trade route passing through a system with a starbase with a trade module? I've clicked on the little trade ship before it entered the sector with the starbase and it said 14bc this turn. I then clicked on it after it entered the sector with the starbase and it hadn't gone up. The starbase had at least 3 trade modules. So why didn't it show an increase? ~SDC~

"I would like to see more made of the influence points. Currently, they are not worth much since you never know what the GP council is going to vote on. If you could tell what they were going to vote on, you could end up trying to wheel and deal enough influence points to try and win the vote. Or if you don't care much about the outcome of the vote, you could gouge any race who needed a particular result badly."--Quote by MojoJojoUK Another thing that would be neat in regards to this id

Tradegoods should be tradable to all civs, but they should be based on a monthly service fee thats doesn't expire until you or the other civ cancels it. As it stands now you trade a tradegood to another civ for anything you can get in the diplomacy screen. This greatly diminishes the value of you leasing a tradegood to another civ in the long run because the benefits eventually wear out yet that civ still gets the bonuses from the tradegood. If you could negotiate a monthly fee

Is there anyway to save your score to upload it later? I won a game but it didn't upload. I had saved it just 3 turns before I won. When I went back to my save game, I didn't win in 3 turns this time, it was more like 50. Is there anyway around this? ~SDC~

Well, I've lost the Senate when I had a 62% approval rating, I was only in the red by -300 or so. Ouch!! The Merchantilists won though so it could have been due to debt, they only beat me by 3 or 4 seats. I've noticed that when another party wins you not only lose your bonuses, but that parties bonuses count as negatives as well, why is this? This concept makes for a very fun game, in fact I like struggling for control of the senate. Although declaring war should be harder when you don't control

Can anyone help me with these questions: If you trade goods with one civ can you trade them with another? Sometimes they show up and sometimes they don't so I'm confused. Is the trade good specific to the planet it's built on or empire wide? When you trade a trade good do you lose it? Does the other empire get to trade it or do they just get the benefits of it. ~SDC~

"Once MOO3 AI is patched (GalCiv needs some patch fixes, as well), the complexities of the game design will come in to focus for the people who do not see them now."--Quote by StarGalax. The funny thing about this is that you see quotes similar to this on the MOO3 forum, except it's more like "MOO3 will be a great game once it's patched". Even the ones that actually like MOO3 are saying that. That should tell everyone that the game currently sucks and probably can't be fixed by a patch.

I don't know if 1.01A was supposed to fix this but I had the same random event show up twice again. It was the Soldiers from the dead event, but both times the consequences were different. On the first event the neutral choice gave a +1 soldiering bonus and the evil one gave a +6. The second time it came around the neutral one was +1, but the evil one changed to +1 also. Why would I pick evil and not neutral since they were both plus one. I certainly wouldn't do I just to be evil cause then I'd

I offered every tech and all my planets to the Torians in exchange for only one tech from them and they refused. Is this a bug? I'm playing ver 1.01A and I know this made the A.I evaluate techs better. Does this have something to do with it? They should have excepted the offer. ~SDC~

Are the minor races that start in the game preset, i.e. not random? Every game I've ever played on small and medium galaxies always has the Alexians and Carinoids(spelling) so I'm asuming that the minor race selection for a galaxy size is not random. It would be nice if it was random, or more random. I'd like to play small and medium galaxies with other minors than just the same minors every game. Can anyone confirm my question above? ~SDC~

I also still have a duplicate wonder problem with 1.01A. The Altarians built Eyes of the Universe, and then built it again 20 to 30 turns later. Can anyone confirm if this was actually fixed cause it doesn't look like it was? Haven't had any duplicate trade goods yet, so thats good. ~SDC~

someone needs to answer this question: After downloading the 1.01a should the version in the top of the menu screen say 1.01a? This question has been asked a few times but I haven't seen it answered yet. I downloaded it but mine still says 1.01. We need to know if it installed? Thankx. ~SDC~

I agree, I've defeated a couple races and never even knew it untill I checked the diplomacy screen. It's as if the war never really happened. Some kind of news event would be welcomed for wars/defeats/extinctions/pirate attacks. The pirate attacks is a big one. When I get attacked by a pirate ship the camera goes to the attack, but after it's over the camera goes back to where I was. Sometimes it takes a while for me to look all over the map to find where that attack happened so I can d

During one game I had the Yor contact me and say we should work covertly against another empire, yet I failed to see how this affected anything. There should be an option for a "covert action against empire X" in the diplomacy screen. Under this option you could pool your espionage and destabilization spending against a certain empire where since you are working together the amount would be the total sum of both your empires, plus a bonus since you are coordinating your effort. The reas

Much in the same way that you build starships, you should be able to build orbital defense systems, such as orbital mines, phaser arrays, surface to space missle batteries, etc... Once these are built then you should be able to see then in the planetary window where you launch ships from. These of course could never leave orbit, but it would be a great new element instead of an abstract planetary defense bonus. And much like the shield shows up when ships are in orbit it would be the same once y

They could simply dumb down the link between morale and over population by a certain amount. That way they don't have to get rid of the idea, just refine it. Ohh, and you shouldn't be able to scrap any colony ship with colonists on it, without shifting your alignment to evil. And even then it should have an effect on morale since you just killed a billion or so people. ~SDC~

One thing you can also do when you download from sdc is click on the product and before you click install look at the far left of the screen where the description and how big the download is: their is a link that says History and if you click on that it "usualy" will tell you what is included. ~SDC~

Every random event I've ever had says "Sol" and then the year under the picture. Is this where they are all taking place? Some events give you planetary bonuses but I can't figure out which planets they happen on. Will there be an update that links random events to planets in a way that you will know which planet it's happening on before you make your decision?
