Individual units don't get any of the bonuses granted to units in a metaunit. Some of these are quite strong.

Stackable buffs are in the game already.
The projectiles shooting straight up is an error with the particles and is purely graphical.
I really enjoyed UGG for a while. A very well done game.
In addition, if you went from a small map to trying a large map, I would expect it to take at least 4 times as long to process the startup due to the relative sizes of the maps.
The last map is stored in the ini file. It may be worth trying to change that to a smaller map like the Deneb to see if that is the issue.
Yes and yes.
Thank you for your thoughtful evaluation. I will factor this into later AI developments.
They also get more resources from buildings (metal, radioactives, anything in the future). They do not get combat bonuses or starting resources.
When spawned as a special ability from the Hercules, they fly around healing nearby damaged units. I'm not sure why you would want to hide the option as it is one of the fastest heals in the game right now.
That map (I'm assuming Seton) has some issues and the designers will need to revisit it. Besides the technical issues, Blue team really has no hope of winning an FFA.
In Full Screen, if you play windowed this should not happen.
It could be that map. I'll look into it.
To assist, you have to select the target of construction. In addition, you can have them target a factory to aid in its production. There are diminishing returns in assisting.
For engineers (and only engineers), early testers requested that they wanted the engineers to have to be ordered to stop before giving new orders so as not to inadvertently reorder their queued builds. Discuss. :)
Intentional. We had to redo the energizer and needed something in the interim while the artists are working on it.
Any feedback on what you feel the AI is doing wrong is greatly appreciated.
1) Currently, spawns are fixed. 2) Because I haven't written the code for that yet :) 3) This is likely a bug. I've never seen that, but I've never tried that map. 4) Once a seed is killed, the player is removed (but not his units at this point), so there wasn't anything to give orders.
How did you start the Benchmark? From the main menu? It should only take 3 minutes.
If it's tech level 3, that means you need to have 3 research buildings.
It is not in the build you have.
The blue grid is programmer art for the radar system. If you build a radar equipped (Aegis or Pan) unit you can get some intel in the fog.
In the interim, you can try running windowed and see if that helps. There is a settings.ini file in your My Games/Ashes of the Singularity directory. That should allow you to experiment with more resolution settings than Options menu allows for
It is, however it'll be a bit harder to do next patch ;)
I usually just call them T1, T2, and T3 respectively.
