Culture Victory should be moved back to 7/8. Rename Military Victory to Domination Victory, and move it to 3/4 of all galactic production. Give Alliance Victory when your Alliance has Domination Victory. That should reduce tedium considerably. :)

BiffMan: G.R.O.S.S. is the weirdest Empire you will ever find; but Happy Fun Balls will make a good addition, as said in the other thread. After all, you need a large Empire for mass distribution of Happy Fun Balls to the Galaxy; think about it. P.S. I need not even tell you not to believe surther. We are the Evil Empire, not the Stupid Empire -that´s the Midwestern Confederation! :D

Hi, BiffMan. I wouldn´t dream of taunting Happy Fun Ball; it´s absolutely gross (and I mean that as a compliment). Now to our offer: Join us as a Senator, and convince your members to join us as members, and together we will take over the Metaverse! And we will mass-produce Happy Fun Balls, and sell them to th other Empires, to be sure. :d

And, yes, your input definitely warrants your promotion as a legitimate consideration. On the other hand, unlike the European Alliance, we do not contemplate inflating the number of our Senators too much. All duly considered, my vote goes to promoting you after your next win. :)

Big Badger, admit it: An Empire with more Chieftains than Indians is going nowhere. :D That´s simply inefficient. I am European myself, but the European Alliance reminds me too much of the European Union -all red tape, no results. ;p

Yeah, to be more precise, they *have a very hard time* invading. I have seen them capture a planet once or twice, but it is rare, and they seem themselves surprised when they finally (after years) manage to do it. :)

"It's really silly to get all those points when two computer players beat you to it." The day the reprocess all the old scores, using a more reasonable formula, will feel like Judgement Day to some! :D (In my current game, the problem of somebody earning a tech victory will not trouble me: They will probably wipe me out before anybody has Dreadnoughts! :p )

Personally, I haven´t even used Ctrl-N, yet, though I was tempted in my current game (tiny, 5 geniuses, me in a corner). Possibly an unwinnable position, but I am curious, so I am playing it. I may lose this one, but I´ll learn something! :)

Hm, I have never seen the Arceans start a culture war, yet. Maybe because they never grew strong enough. :) As to the Torians, yes, they sometimes grow strong, but, given they can´t invade, what´s the point? :p

"What's an ironman feature?" Essentially it means a "no save/reload" option. With this option on, you load a saved game, it vanishes and can´t be loaded again. Also, no Autosave. Great for the truly competitive; of course, with a CTD you are screwed LOL (the only disadvantage).

Pontius: Actually the ANCACS and Canadians would be worthy to join us. Perhaps they will do so later. In the meantime, as things stand, there are two viable strategies to grow in the Metaverse: 1) Churning out tech wins on Gigantic Maps. 2) Recruitment and Mergers. As I find difficult games on Small Maps vastly more interesting than score milking, I will focus my contributions to G.R.O.S.S. on 2). I believe only the "10 best games" of a given player should count, for two reasons: -Reduce the "Crank out" factor. ;p -Players can submit games with few pts without fear that it may actually hurt them.
