also, dont build everything! Look at the annual upkeep costs before deciding. And dont have a large fleet (costs tons of money to maintain) if you are not going to use it for war.

Still think an in game Hall of Fame systewm would be nice. I love all you guys but I dont really give a rats ass what your scores are, or how much better they are than mine, or Joe Blow's. For those that like to see how they stack up against others, thats great. Fix the system so the scoring is fair. There is predictability to every PC game known to man (except for chess.)Of course, there are also well documented cases of ZERO AI in many games. GalCiv does ok for a computer game. wow, if you want great diplomacy, try Moo3.(har.)Honestly, I think the diplomacy in GalCiv is ok. No computer game is perfect, but I've seen fairly realistic dealings in all my games. Sorry if you dont like it. Let me know if you can take it back as I have a buttload of games I am dissapointed with and the new return policies of most stores prohibit returns.

Neb, what we're asking is: what do you have for a pc? brand, cpu speed, display card etc. I'm not a whiz either but alot of the folks on this board are (or at least, they know more than you and I.) Somebody may have some clues to whats wrong if they know what you are running. Cheers.

sounds like something seriously wring with your system. If the game was flawed everybody would be having problems. Sorry to hear that it doesnt work for you. Wish I was a systems expert and I could tell what was wrong with your aet up but I know very little about computers other than how to play games on them.

Dont know this for a fact but it seems the senate doesnt vote randomly. I've seen them band together on issues and what do ya know...those that voted for or against a particular issue were allied or on good terms.I've seen some vote with me when we were on good terms and against me when we were at war. Seems to me there is some method to the voting AI.

I'm no schoolboy but I'm doing alright..... dont worry about morale above 55%. Its nigh impossible to keep it over that galaxy-wide for any length of time. Actually, as long as you dont go below 50 overall you are okay. Use transports to keep population in line, which keeps morale up. They dont cost (at least in 1.03 they dont I think) and you can always use em for invasions later.

Of course it would be more of a clickfest than Civ or Gal, its RTS. There is no such thing as a clickfest in turn based games, unless the player WANTS to rush thru everything and hit the end tun button quickly. Not quite sure what that statement meant. What I'd like to know is: is it DIFFERENT enough from the 10,000 other RTS games out there? I got all excited about Age of Myth and after I got over the nice visuals, it was basically the same as every other RTS. Oh yeah. God powers. Wooo hoo
