I get the message that SmartException has tried to log extra information, and if I want to know more I should press the smartexception button. So I do that. And there I see: nothing. That probably won't help the devs too much ;) Do I need to have a specific port open on my firewall to do a metaverse submission? ~SDC~

another nice one: I decided to manually extract the main galciv archive to the temp dir before installing the multimedia. This time the multimedia claims to have installed correctly, but it only extracted the zip! The files are still not expanded or put into the galciv directory! ~SDC~

I'm having the same problem as Easty. I finally downloaded the full packages but I haven't found a way to install the lot. I can install galciv, but the multimedia is just extracted to the temp dir of SDC and then an error occurs mentioned above: -- [Installation] --------------------------------------------------- Loading: C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\temp\gc1.xml Result: Success Extract File: C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\temp\Base\Data\invasiontactics\CoreTactics.

This is what I understand so far: -You can download the game to an archive and install from that or you can install directly. -Installing directly supports resume. -Downloading to an archive does not support resume. -After installing a game (or part) you can archive that part for backup. This leads me to the idea that it is best to direcly install any download and archive it after installation. Does that lead to the same kind of archive as the one you can download?<b

As probably mentioned before it would be great if the download and archive option would support resuming. I've had the multimedia packagage restart three times now, one of which was alreayd at 95%. That is a bit silly really. :notsure:

The only problem I have is that I want my Drengin.net subscription but I don't dare try submitting my form again with this warning: "Do Not Resubmit Your Order!" LOL I hope that the sales people from stardock get in touch with me quickly so I can start playing these Stardock games :) This is probably not the kind of post you were looking for in this tread right?... oh well ;p
