Shhh... Mojo, keep it down, or they won't rework the espionage. LOL Well, *Talks loudly* I'm off to try this new patch. *hopes ruse works*
Nicolas Bossy
If he's whining about the PQ bonus, the new one works on classes 15 and up.
What research assistant? :notsure: I don't see who you're talking about.
Go to the Metaverse and click on Simulator. I'm not sure about the source.
Nastavnik, who said it wasn't already? And Ichimaru, what fixes in 1.02 and 1.03 are giving you grief? Details, man, details! And you will need all of the patches between now and whenever the expansion pack comes out to get the Bombardment Cruiser.
The cup, or the liquid?
That one means he posted his message through Stardock Central.
Three possibilities: they have lots of influence resourses, lots of culture magnifying starbase modules, or both. In my current game, I'm having this problem with the Yor, and since we don't like each other much, I may "accidentally" take his influence resources.
I've seen the 0 population growing thing before, when I was getting class 15+ planets from one of the United Planets issue. My guess is 0 million people doesn't mean no people at all. Perhaps its only a few thousand (the crew), who reproduce at a phenominal rate, or people from other worlds immigrating to it.
Yup, Ralph Wiggum says it after he wins the Diarama-rama and falls down. His diarama was a bunch of Star Wars figures still in their original packages, and he won because Principal Skinner got nostalgic, while Miss Hoover was apathetic about all of the diaramas.
*jumps on bandwagon* All games that come out have bugs. Its better that Stardock is fixing them frequently, rather than taking months to fix a few problems *coughQuicksilvercough*. When I took a comp sci course in high school, my teacher spent the first week of class explaining the biggest problem in the software industry: a number of managers that oversee programmers aren't programmers themselves. (Insert joke about engineers and 9 women here.) Adding people to the programming team can
You get the bonus as soon as the starbase is built, but the mining modules increase the bonus.
I've seen that espionage event occur between two minors, and once between myself and a minor. The problem: you can't do espionage on a minor civ. And I do think espionage needs a makeover.
Wait, there's an Advanced espionage level? At what amount of funding do you get it? I've been stopping at High's 900 BC amount, thinking that was the most one could get.
Sector sweep: Ship patrols the border of the sector its in. Auto survey: Ship explores every anomoly it can find.
The reason I'm asking is because all of the other bonuses are multiples of 5. These 1% and 2% bonuses don't do very much because the base values have to be very high, which is impossible to do.
Economy improves taxes. Since you buy research and production, more tax revenue from the economy bonus means more research and production.
Base taxes come from the population size and tax percentage. Planet quality affects how much revenue you can generate before hitting the Law of Diminishing Returns. I don't know if that's on the base taxes, or the adjusted amount. While there is no true max production, paid production that is 10 times the planet quality hit the Law of Diminishing Returns. I think base production is based on planet quality. I'm not sure how the sliders work.
Population is good for three things: generating taxes, generating influence, and troops.
Is the News Network supposed to give a 2% economy bonus, or a 20% economy bonus? I'm wondering because a 2% econ bonus doesn't do much unless the planet puts out 50 BC before the bonus is applied.
Well, there are numerous mentions of how the interstellar travel occurs (one of them is in the intro movie). The ships aren't accelerated to a speed that's greater than c. The Hyperdrives fold space.
tonmoril, use Sentry. As soon as an enemy ship gets close, your ships ask for orders.
Here's a possible one: GCImps.imp Improvement InfoNet Prestige bonus is 1, I think it's supposed to be 10.
Right now, the only way is to go to one of your colonies and selecting it to get the basic stats.
I second that, and do the same for colony ships when picking a target planet.
